FX Live 2 debería ser una actualización de FX live, pero como van ha hacer eso y de forma gratuita? AVISO...nunca actualizan, sacarán una app de pago nueva cada vez que la mejoren. ### 2/5 — Documentation??? *2015-02-23* After having to pay to get this new version, I'm a bit disappointed that there is no full documentation that I can find. Since I'm using FX Live professionally, that's a deal breaker. Back to the old version which is fully documented until the developers finish the documentation for this new one. En mi caso aproveché un tutorial del desarrollador para dar los primeros pasos. Normalmente utilizo otras apps más potentes en ordenador, pero si solo quieres llevar la tablet esta me parece genial. Cabe destacar que el soporte técnico es rápido y eficaz. Pude resolver un problema con la app de un día para otro. ### 4/5 — Really great for our productions! *2017-01-31, version 1.4.2* We are a small village group running a Pantomime once a year and the ease with which we can build our shows using FX live is just great! We've done 2 years with it now and it really does make a difference. It's a specialised piece of software so it's normal to have to pay more than for your usual app, but it's still great value for money. I had several people asking me if I was a sound professional this year! Advice: Start early with setting up your cues and make sure you've got plenty of script / action reminders so you can work without the script during the show, and you can hand off to someone less familiar with it if there's a crisis! Importing the sound files is straightforward but takes a few steps so get some practice doing that as well! Overall: A couple of 'features' could do with improving - some UX, what happens when you use the same crew twice, and I can't seem to use the incidental music how I'd like, but apart from that it's a belter! Everything needed is there even the midi control of every important function. I will definitely use it in my professionnal live senarized readings. Congratulations for this nice work. I will follow your future updates. It's also something I am able to program and edit even tho I am a tech challenged solo performer. I was recommending fx live 2 to a friend but not sure it is still available for purchase. All the features and their implementation are carefully thought out, and Ian the developer is really great in working to improve the app with added features. Its intuitive to build a show, from a simple cue list to more complex auto triggered, timed, background and looped fx. Handy features like trimming the silence from the start and end of tracks, being able to instantly recue to the previous playing state (if the Next Cue button is accidentally tapped), and even a few features handy when rehearsing (like skipping back 10 secs) make this essential for shows like dance schools, school musicals, etc. Great app. ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2017-12-01, version 1.51* This app is proving a life saver. We’re performing live audio dramas and this software is now as integral as any cast member. In a 15 minute piece I’m using 26 FX as background and cues. Fx-live2 has managed with ease. Every time I’ve thought “if only it could do-“ I found it could. Works fine but mishaps with new people using the board. This app is amazing and just what I have been looking for. It may take time for them to get use to it but they will learn soon enough. Running shows in the rehearsal space has been a challenge and this app has solved that and mush more. Coupled with a Bluetooth speaker and your done. The underlying understanding of sound cues and shows is amazing.
