## What is Fyt?

Fyt is the social fitness app that gets your whole crew training. Track every run and lift, and Fyt announces them live in your iMessage group chat, so your friends cheer every mile and every PR.

GROUP CHAT
Add Fyt to your group chat and every run and workout gets announced as it happens. Leaderboards keep score, streaks stay honest, and your friends follow along even without the app.

RUN
Record your runs with live GPS. Watch your route draw on the map in real time, with pace, distance, time, elevation, and heart rate as you go. After the run, review the full map, your splits, and how the effort compares to your past runs. Workouts from Apple Health show up automatically, so your history stays in one place.

GYM
Log every set, rep, and weight with a fast tracker and a built-in rest timer. Each exercise has a clear illustration and demo so you know the movement. When you finish, the muscle-map view lights up every muscle you trained, shaded by how hard you worked it. Fyt tracks your personal records and your 1RM over time, and you can save your go-to sessions as routines.

CLUBS AND FRIENDS
Join a club and see where you stand. Weekly and all-time leaderboards rank your miles and your volume against your friends. Follow people, react to their workouts, and leave a comment. Your profile shows your streak, your year, and your full history.

YOUR DATA
Fyt reads your workouts from Apple Health and keeps your training in one place. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps.

Run or lift, Fyt keeps the whole picture in one app, and your crew keeps you showing up.

### 5/5 — best in the game

*2026-08-09*

such an efficient fitness tracker. there’s a streak feature you can use with friends and it’s one of my biggest motivators for staying consistent w the gym since i can stay accountable with friends. besides just tracking my routine there’s a bunch of stats that fyt tracks too. super cool app and a great addition to keeping up w my health

### 5/5 — Perfect fitness app

*2026-07-31*

I’m training for the air force IFT with strict fitness and cardio requirements. Fyt was able to break down the requirements into workout and running schedules for me. My mile time already improved by 3 minutes along with my strength. But the best part is the community. It feels good to show off your progress, meet new people with the same goals, and motivate each other. What seems like a simple fitness app changed my workouts into a lifestyle!

### 5/5 — 11/10

*2026-07-17*

Such a good app for both the gym and running. I use it to track my lifts and make sure I progressively overload and for running as well. Has loads of features and is constantly adding stuff as well. The next thing it needs is a strong community and it’ll be even more than just an app. Love the picture and streak feature that was just added.

### 5/5 — convenient fitness app tracker

*2026-07-16*

the most convenient fitness app tracker i’ve tried. i like to log my runs and gym sessions to track my stats and keep a streak. my fav feature is adding fyt runbot to my run gc on imsg so me and my friends automatically get notifs every time we log a run. super cool and motivating i never seen anything like it

### 5/5 — Best fitness app!

*2026-07-14*

Highly recommend to anyone who is into running and/or gymming. Better than strava and any other fitness app out there.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.32 — 2026-08-19

Gym sessions now get the same post workout flow as runs.
The post workout screen no longer gets skipped if you leave the app right after saving.
Stability and reliability improvements.

### 1.0.31 — 2026-08-18

A new look throughout, and a rebuilt territory map.

Glass: the app now uses Apple's glass materials across the top bars, the tab bar, the run controls, and the buttons and lists you tap most, on Routines, search, your following list and clubs. Apple Watch got the same pass.

Territory: your captured blocks rise as a 3D board in full color and fade to embers as they age. The Maps tab opens in 3D satellite view, route pins moved off the map into the list so the map stays readable, and local boards were rebuilt around King of the Area.

Gold: lifetime membership is back on the paywall, the annual plan now shows its monthly equivalent, and a short walkthrough explains the free trial after you finish a run.

Kudos are now called props everywhere you see them.

Also: club photos show in your clubs list, plus fixes for VoiceOver labels, the run map compass, and activity timestamps.

### 1.0.30 — 2026-08-13

Account changes now confirm it's you. Setting a password, changing your email, or changing your phone number sends a code to verify the change first. Setting a password used to fail with an error and now completes.

Referral codes work. The code field is visible when you sign up, so a code someone sent you gets applied to your account.

Walks and hikes keep your streak going. Streaks that should have counted them have been repaired.

Runs recorded on Apple Watch save to your phone before uploading, so a dropped connection no longer loses the run.

Text across the app follows your iPhone text size setting.

Your Week on the Gym tab marks each day you trained with a filled dot.

Activities recorded without a route show your stats where the map would be.

The map on the run recording screen opens on the Standard map.

The orange avatar color now looks orange.

### 1.0.29 — 2026-08-02

Better run tracking, clearer leaderboards, and streak notifications.

- Heart rate now shows up on runs recorded in the app even when your watch syncs late. We re-check Apple Health at upload time and fill in what the live recording missed.
- If a run does not count toward leaderboards, the run page now says so and explains why.
- Streak partners now get a notification when you send proof, with a matching notification control in Settings.
- The referral hub has a cleaner new look.
- Changing your phone number, email, or password now confirms it is really you first.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements throughout.

### 1.0.28 — 2026-07-30

Sharper photos on both pillars: pictures you add to runs and workouts now upload at higher resolution and quality.

Activity cards respond reliably on the first tap: names, times, locations, photos, comments, props, and share all work again. Comment threads open correctly from a friend's profile. Viewing a friend's workout shows exactly the right controls, and friend progress pages load more reliably with a retry when the connection drops.
