I have another app that gives me an accurate count of steps, this one doesn’t 🙄🙄🙄 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Count Calories *2018-12-31* I am new to the app so I could be wrong, but it’s not including calories burned from exercise only steps. I did add the exercise but it doesn’t count. I’m gonna keep giving the app a try cause I like the idea, but some improvements are needed. **Developer response:** Hi there, We are glad that you like the idea of this app. To include the calorie you burn, you should use another fitness tracking app or device and sync it with Apple HealthKit. Because HealthKit does not track calorie burned but steps, that's why you only see the steps in the app. We are trying hard to fix some bugs and add more functionality which will certainly offer our users with more motivation and fun. I fill out the user name but the keyboard is now hiding the try button. ### 2/5 — Huh? *2018-12-31* Magically appeared despite me not downloading it. I didn’t sync at the start hoping you could sync with Fitbit later, as I don’t work out with my phone in my hand so the health app doesn’t track well, but I can’t even find a setting page! So now I have no source of calories, which I guess means no trees. Even their FAQ button doesn’t go to a game FAQ? Premise seems really cute, execution is like nonexistent...? **Developer response:** Hi there, We are glad that you like the idea. For smart watches rather than Apple Watch, because HealthKit does not allow them to sync directly, you need another app to help you synchronize your bands with HealthKit. For your Fitbit, there are some premium apps that can help you to do so, but there are olso free apps such as Power Sync for Fitbit available on App Store. I would like it to have more things to do other than planting and removing. It motivates me to run and burn calories but it would be more interesting if there was more stuff like a real farming game, like buying, harvesting, selling, building, decorating my garden and so on. It would also be awesome if it had a leaderboard to make it feel more competitive. I hope there is more coming. **Developer response:** Hi there, We are glad to know that you like the idea. I hope the updates help with functionality and connection to other apps (even with the Apple Watch). Thank you for your time and enjoy Green Fitness. ### 3/5 — Needs To Sync with Fitness Trackers *2018-12-31* It is a smart idea and concept but it needs to be able to pair with other fitness trackers than an iPhone such as a Fitbit, Garmin, or Samsung bands. I do not carry my phone with me everywhere I go and but my Fitbit tracker logs everything for me! I would love the app if I could get my stats to transfer in! **Developer response:** Hi there, We are glad that you like the idea of this app. It's true that we need other fitness trackers like smart watch for more convenience and also, to track the calorie burned (as Apple HealthKit does not track that data). For Apple Watch, since it has been already integrated with your Iphone, the calories you burn will automatically transfer to Green Fitness. For other smart watches as you mentioned, because HealthKit does not allow them to sync directly, you need another app to help you synchronize your bands with HealthKit. Seems like you are using Fitbit. Then there are some premium apps that can help you, but there are olso free apps such as Power Sync for Fitbit available on App Store. Im on the quay to loose weight and it just keeps me burning calories for my garden.
