But in most lighting it misses shots, doesn’t work well at angles, and the interface does not track historical data/ allow removal of guns. ### 3/5 — Purchasing Error *2023-01-05, version 2.0.4* If you try to purchase Laser Training Unlimited, it shows you are purchasing Trigger Pull(which is not available yet) & even after it successfully accepts your payment, you are left with no new mode & -$5. Otherwise, it is a good app- decent setting customization for good dry fire practice ### 2/5 — G-sight *2022-11-10, version 2.0.4* Extra cap didn’t fit, didn’t realize I had to buy the other targets. I’d say it’s a average. I am a NRA pistol instructor and purchased this to see if I should by all the calibers and use them in classes but for the price and what you get .. really it’s not with it. There are others out there that do the same basic thing for much cheaper. ### 2/5 — Poor quality app *2022-08-03, version 2.0.2* After about 2 month of training, the app stopped picking up shots off the target and begun to malfunction. After restarting the phone not much improvement. It used to work fine in the beginning but one day just stopped functioning normally. I am wondering if this is a design flaw or deliberate act by the app designer to insight people to purchase upgrades Very disappointed with this app Additionally When I first purchased the product, I never received a promised target… Will not recommend this to anyone…. After I take my shots and hit stop, the app shuts down not allowing me to see the shot time and that makes this feature useless. Probably going to find a new app to training with if I’m being honest ### 2/5 — Works, but way overpriced useless upgrades *2022-03-02, version 1.28* I gave it 2 stars because it tracked the laser shot, but their added features are way over priced. You get a free 10 shot training, then you can upgrade to unlimited shot training which just means you can do more than 10 shots at a time without having to walk over and reset it. The shot timer upgrade is even more frustrating! A voice will say shooter ready, and a tone will play. This would be great if it actually timed your shot from the tone to the laser hit. That’s how you know if your holster draw is getting better. There is no way to track accuracy improvement over multiple sessions. If you are considering purchasing their targets for the app, don’t bother, just draw something on some cardboard. Disappointing since the laser and tripod I bought through them seem to work really well. ### 1/5 — Used to love it *2022-02-23, version 1.28* Was a great app but needs an update. Worthless now. ### 1/5 — It works, but too basic for the $$$ *2021-10-26, version 1.28* When you spend a few hundred dollars with a company for a dry fire/laser training system you’d expect to not have to spend $5 in the app to unlock a “shot timer” and “unlimited mode”… I ended up buying 5 cartridges in different calibers… Spending roughly $500 on this setup it’s annoying to have to spend money in the app that’s clearly sub par. My products arrived today. Within 10 mins I downloaded other apps that are clearly superior. ### 2/5 — Decent free app *2021-10-16, version 1.28* Update: A lot of the time it appears that it’s not registering shots but when you go to the summary page the shots are there. That takes most of the fun out of it. I would consider paying for the upgrade if it worked consistently. Original review: The free version is very basic but it works great. My problem first on iOS and android devices is that the app only sees one or two shots, but basically stops after only a couple shots. Sometimes as soon as you start it stops. There are no setting adjustments available to make it any better. ### 1/5 — Not affiliated with G-sight company! *2024-02-17, version 2.0.4* I used this app back in 2021 when I got my G-Sight cartridge and then I realized my shots weren’t registering last year in 2023. Then I downloaded the G-Sight 2023 app which worked way better but didn’t have the same features. I sent an email to G-Sight customer service and they said this app is not affiliated with their company! Don’t download this app or spend your money it doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — App crashes constantly *2023-02-01, version 2.0.4* I’ve closed all other apps on my iPhone 13 Pro and it still can’t function without crashing right before I review my results. Works great sometimes and not at all other times. Lighting is perfect, tried several different targets including a G-Sight target. Which, can we make a bundle pack for the targets that isn’t over priced for the paper it’s printed and shipped on? Lastly, charging for each feature in the app is good, but at $5/feature seems extremely over priced for dry firing practice. ### 1/5 — Bad tracking *2023-01-12, version 2.0.4* In training you get 14 shots. This app only recognizes about 5 shots out of about 30 I took. At least it’s free but pretty much useless. The target is in a well lit place with no glares. It definitely makes dry fire fun and helps improve your skills. After about six months the G Laser wasn’t working in one of my 9mm. After sending an email they replaced the striker end cap which fixed the problem. This product cost less than one box of ammo. No special target is needed. Almost any item that is non reflective will work as a target. Just point you phone camera at whatever you want to practice shooting at. The basic free mode allows you to take 10 shot then review them individually or as a grouping. You can use this as many times as you want absolutely free. You can unlock other features for 5 bucks that will allow you to take unlimited shots before stopping to review or another mode that has a timer. Works with the G-Sight laser cartridge or other brands too. ### 4/5 — Used it for a whole year. so far no complaints *2022-04-07, version 1.28* I think the app is great. Has all the features you really need. One thing I would like to see in the future is a section you can see your past training sessions and compare how you’ve progressed.
