Please bring this feature back. ### 5/5 — Great app for at home training *2023-03-16, version 1.0.6* This is a great app for laser training. Helps you focus on sight picture, grip, trigger squeeze. Try to get in a few sessions per week when I can get to the live range. ### 5/5 — New G-Site App *2023-02-28, version 1.0.6* I have used the old app for over 2 years and it works pretty good a little trouble with the camera picking up shots but with a little work you can get it. I have just started using the new app. and I like how it keeps track of your training. I haven’t tried any of their targets yet but I have used my own and one that I got from them a couple years ago but it’s not on there new target list. Using G-site laser will definitely help with site location and trigger pull. When I go to the range after using G-site my shooting is much better. Update: I finally got a target that works with the app. It works great the app. Will announce a zone and you must hit that zone and then keep track of hits and misses with a score. The app. also keeps track of each session with the results and a picture of the session. It’s convenient being able to dry fire practice at home, when life gets too hectic and I can’t get to the local range. I was happy before, but, this new version is a big improvement. There are many target options available, shooting games and challenges for friendly competition or you can use your own favorite targets. My son and I have fun competing with each other and I enjoy the additional time bonding. My wife loves it too, and it’s helped her confidence immensely. I’ll be subscribing to the shooters club soon too! G-Sight owner and user of their laser training products. I have the 9mm, .38/.357, and .45acp laser cartridges, along with nearly all of their targets and I love telling all my gun friends about it. I show them screenshots of my bullseyes and tight groupings and it gets them pumped. Heck, I should probably look into being an affiliate marketer for them bcuz I’ve referred at least a dozen friends so far that have all gone and purchased G-Sight from either their website or from their Amazon store. I truly love this laser trainer! ### 5/5 — Great practice *2023-02-12, version 1.0.6* Setup and alignment were a piece of cake. Love the missions with the g-sight targets, but also that it works with any target I put up. No missed registers. After a few updates the program is nearly useless. Look for another product and don’t waste your time here. ### 1/5 — Great app for training but… *2025-06-21, version 1.6.2* I love this training system. Very easy to use and helps a lot when you can’t make it to the range. Only complaint I have is the app crashes every time I get to a certain level on the app. Doesn’t matter if you delete and reset the app it crashes every time. Hopefully they can get it fixed so I can continue on ### 1/5 — Has to many glitches and no customer support. *2025-03-05, version 1.6.2* While using the Deer Hunter target I found Expert level 2 would freeze during calibration. You can skip to level 3 but even if you make the goal you can’t do level 4. So, you try Reaction FTX. That would only allow you to fire 6 shots before it freezes up. I sent two requests for customer support. Once using the form on their website, the other an email to Support. No response to either one. So what I get from this is this company will send you emails on a daily basis selling you a faulty product but cannot help you when you have a legitimate problem with their product. ### 1/5 — App crashes *2024-02-09, version 1.6.2* As soon as I hit backyard shooter , start then next the app crashes !!!! Smh ### 1/5 — Wrong presentation *2023-12-22, version 1.6.2* This app does not do what is supposed to do. You can shoot and app counts something but it does not show final pictures with your hits as shown in screen shots in app description - basically the only helpful screen for laser shooting training. ### 2/5 — Rotating display and camera *2023-12-18, version 1.6.2* I tried to use this app with a spare iPad in landscape mode. The display rotates but the camera does not, when trying to set up a target. The camera rotates on my iPhone, but not the iPad. ### 3/5 — Great app for training but… *2024-04-25* I love this training system. I changed the rubber stopper and rings but it is just frustrating and only records a couple of hits and laser does not light up but half the time😭 ### 4/5 — Dry fire clicks are not being record *2025-10-10, version 1.6.2* OK, a couple of things I do arm security at a mega church. Sit in a particular section that seats 750 people at any given time something can pop off praise God it hasn’t brought this system to practice my dry firing but noticed that you can only practice at 10 feet which is not cool would like to stand at least 25 feet. Also my dry firing clicks are not being picked up by my iPhone 15 Pro Max my volume was all the way up and I’m not sure why it’s not being picked up. this would have been five stars however these are my only two issues. When was the last time this app was updated to be aligned with iOS 26. ### 4/5 — Not bad, but it has issues *2024-07-02, version 1.6.2* It took a while to figure out how to get it to see the target correctly. The Target MUST have a border. Otherwise, you get treated to a weird morphing square. I have a target, a 1/2 sized NRA B-2 Bullseye target, and it has a black bullseye. Even so, once you select and calibrate the target, it shows the whole target, and there is a green circle that seems to be the center. Problem is that it is always low and a little to the left. When you start a drill, you get a couple of commands and a start signal. The commands are too quick and the start signal sounds before I can get to my shooting point. I don’t use the timer, so it is unimportant. After all the negative above, the system does seem to do a good job of seeing all the laser hits. The noise it makes can usually let you know you threw a round off. I can practice 10 shots and record my scores. I often takes break from working and pop off a few . ### 5/5 — Really Good *2024-01-18, version 1.6.2* I had their old app from G-Sight ( black icon ) and had no idea that it did not work with their new smart target line! They should remove that or let people know! A family member told me about this, I found it and download it, and everything works incredibly well. The older version was honestly not very good, but this version is on point. With all the other laser training apps out there, in my opinion this is a cut above the rest for several reasons. The auto alignment feature and auto scoring is surprisingly good along with a wide range of available targets in their offering and they are not only challenging but super fun to shoot at while trying to advance levels. ### 5/5 — Bargain for what you get *2023-12-28, version 1.6.2* This is hands down the best training aid ever.
