Master aviation RT with fully vocalised learning sessions and dynamically simulated practise flights. Whatever your current experience level, G-UDRT has the depth and breadth of content to ensure you can communicate with confidence.

RT knowledge and the ability to apply it competently is traditionally achieved through repeated exposure to and participation in diverse real-world radio communications. This can be challenging, especially for student pilots who can find their concentration is nearly entirely taken up by learning to fly the aircraft. There may be little mental capacity remaining to comprehend and remember all the airborne RT they hear.

With G-UDRT in your pocket, you can enjoy your expensive flight time, having mastered radiotelephony from the ground. Our content has been developed by a leading radiotelephony expert, and in consultation with those of us who are still improving.

Detailed learning content builds knowledge. Competence is achieved by practising using realistically unpredictable and fully vocalised simulated flights. You must respond to changing weather, traffic, clearances and more. Just like in the real world.

I’m preparing for my FRTOL and TBH finding it a bit of a struggle. This app was recommended to me by my FRTOL instructor and once you get used to the electronic voices I’m finding it very useful, I’m getting less tongue tied and my confidence is growing. The ability to customise the voices and aircraft reg & type gives a more realistic feel and the random elements when playing back scenarios is also an excellent feature. Thoroughly recommend.

Like many I have struggled with ATC. This is without question the best product I have across and it actually trains you rather than waffle. It explains the Why things are done in certain ways which therefore leads to understanding and so less sense of feeling like you must memorise. 

Work your way through the modules. Fly safe.

Following specific user feedback, we’ve added the ability to automatically pause a flight's progression after each of your RT calls. Use this with the speak pilot role option off, and the hide pilot text option on. This way, you'll neither be shown nor hear the call you should be making, but the app will give you all the time you need to collect your thoughts.
