It is feature rich, always being improved, and reliable. We insist that all of our students use it, along with our alumni, and it has helped us locate someone that had a motor out in a field one evening that didn’t have communications. All of our instructors use this personally, along with our students, which helps us to track hours on our equipment, their equipment, and ensure everyone safety. Was at abt 1300msl when saw a red airplane icon (2983msl) appear on the screen behind me moving perpendicular to my path behind me. No danger but good to see it was there (saw the traffic). But maybe one add might be a small clock (the time in the air is noted, thk you) but it would be good to have a clock especially when flying close to sunset limits. That way you don’t have to swap out of gaggle to note the exact time. **Developer response:** Hi mth, thank you for reporting this issue! (Fan lol) but I have to admit, I've use this sporadically and was not impressed until lately. The features of this app are extraordinary! I use a Chest-mount for my iPhone so I can look down and see the instruments quite easily. Being able to see other airplanes, Paramotor pilots, wind speed and direction are pretty cool. I've been playing around with the fuel level and fuel consumption part of the app so being able to see my fuel level is quite amazing. I have been forgetting to press start for the auto record that allows us to record a flight so maybe the developers can have an auto feature that turns on Gaggle when we gain altitude and speed like a paramotor launch or a notification that pops up that says it looks like you're flying do you want to turn on Gaggle? I will continue to use this and get my students to use this also. Very simple and easy to use and the air space feature is extraordinary. Because Gaggle focuses on so much more than just recording flights I don't really want start the flight recording monitoring immediately upon opening the app. There is also the fact that pilots can choose their equipment before a flight and I want to leverage that screen in future even more to show weather briefings and NOTAM information. What I personally do is start the recording while doing my pre-flight. That way I know Gaggle is ready and it will only start recording once I go fly, even if that is 20 minutes from now. However, only prompts for the first 10 minutes. After that, it is inaccurate while in flight and stops prompting the flight information. Not worth $89 a year. I hope they fix these bugs. I’ve heard so many other pilots complain about this lately. Also, how do we find other pilots to friend. I asked Gaggle and tried exactly what it told me to do but didn’t work at all. **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your review and feedback. Sectional charts feature is NOT accurate or reliable. In my area of CO I have found Surface E to be wrong, missing E transitions areas, missing 100% of all Wilderness Areas, and the Class D and E show up as the same color. DO NOT rely on these sectionals to stay legal, doing so could get you and PPG in general in trouble. If the app pulled sectionals from a reliable source this would be an amazing app **Developer response:** Thanks for you review and for reporting this! Not only does it log your flights but gives you your ground speed and an easy way to make it back to your takeoff location. Only thing I think is super super selfish of and wrong of the company is the new power line feature will only warn you about power lines if you pay for the most expensive subscription. I seriously can’t comprehend why anyone would be so selfish and greedy that they would only give you the audio alert that can potentially save your life, if you pay for the most expensive monthly membership they offer. I understand we should not fly low and that we can’t rely on that to always work but they have the ability to possibly save someone’s life and won’t do it unless you pay them for the most expensive membership. Actually, I’ve inspired a couple of friends to use it too :)) The only problem: absence of integration with XContest. It’s the most popular logbook and an opportunity to export in IGC format or upload to xcontest looks like a must functionally. ### 4/5 — Ayer lo probé por primera vez. *2023-03-23, version 1.0.20230321* Tiene fallos. 1- antes de despegar le di a grabar. INE ( Esperando despegue). Tras despegar, la aplicación detectó el despegue cuando ya llevaba 2 minutos en el aire. 2- La altura siempre me aparecía a cero. 3- La altitud me aparece 120 metros por debajo de la real. Tanto es así, que según la aplicación iba volando a -117 ( 117 metros negativos). No se si es que hay que configurar algo más. Ya le haré otra prueba si es que me da tiempo antes de consumir la demo.
