Im especially enjoying the new six nations tab! Thank you to the developers you’ve done a great job :) I’m a big Leicester Tigers fan & my only comment would be that the English prem cup doesn’t seem to be updated on the app, the leagues on there but the fixtures aren’t there and there’s no way to get notifications for the games. They were either ugly, lacked information, or both. So most of the time I was just left searching online for scores. Gainline is the first rugby app I have found that is both useful and nice to look at. J’ai bien l’icône d’activité quand je suis sur le match, bien l’option d’activité dans les paramètres de l’app et de mon tel mais rien ne change… C’est dommage ### 2/5 — Really thorough app, with accessibility issues *2026-05-09* For most people, I'd highly recommend this app. It covers a wide range of tournaments, and allows you to set favourite leagues and teams. Push notifications, live activities, and home screen widgets make it easy to keep up with the things you care about in the rugby world. The reason for my lower rating is that Gainline is rather difficult to use effectively for blind and visually impaired people such as myself, due to its extremely limited VoiceOver support. This won't matter to the vast majority of users. However, I was explicitly prompted by the app to leave an App Store review, and feel that such a review should reflect my own use case. I have contacted the developer regarding this issue. For people who don't rely on VoiceOver, though, I would highly recommend this app, due to its wide tournament coverage, and support for iPhone-specific features, such as live activities and widgets. As far as I can tell, it is the most thorough rugby app available on the App Store. I feel that the subscription price is justifiable, given the coverage offered. **Developer response:** Thank you for the view and really sorry for the difficulties using VoiceOver. This app was exactly what I was looking for! Great way for keeping up with all rugby scores across different leagues. My only request would be a better page dedicated to the rugby leagues that allow you to select a league and quickly look at the current table standings. What impressed me most is how much thought has clearly gone into the user experience. Match tracking is excellent, statistics are easy to find, and the rugby focused features make it far more useful for fans than generic sports apps. The developer has done a remarkable job creating something that feels polished, reliable, and built by people who genuinely understand rugby. It’s rare to find an app that consistently delivers such a great experience while continuing to add meaningful improvements. If you’re a rugby fan looking for the best way to follow matches, teams, and statistics, Gainline is an easy recommendation.
