It’s not just listening you’re actually building mixtapes, competing in weekly themes, and upgrading tracks like it’s a game. The leaderboard and rewards give me a reason to come back every day, and I’ve already discovered a bunch of artists I probably never would’ve found on Spotify. The Mixtape Leagues make it feel like I’m part of something bigger, and it’s super satisfying when one of my tracks climbs the rankings. It’s so nice not being fed the same mainstream songs on rotation day in and day out day out. Gala is definitely for music buffs/influencers that want to find quality independent artists that they would have never found otherwise and they can say they found them before they got famous. Not to mention it’s completely free unless you wanna invest in the artists and become a shareholder in the royalties of their music.
