## What is GalaSpo Football Streamer?

GalaSpo Stream turns an iPhone into a complete live-broadcast rig for youth and adult sports — no camera crew, no laptop, no separate encoder box required.

Built for junior athlete parents who want an easy way to share game day with family who can't be there in person, and just as capable for adult league matches. Point your phone at the field, tap Go Live, and GalaSpo Stream handles the rest: encoding, uploading, and a real scoreboard burned directly into the video your viewers see.

FREE, START TO FINISH
No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.

DIRECT TO YOUTUBE, LIVE
Streams straight from the camera to a scheduled YouTube broadcast — no relay server, no third-party account needed beyond your own YouTube channel.

A REAL SCOREBOARD, BURNED IN
Team names, logos, colors, live score, and the game clock are composited directly into the video itself — not a browser overlay layered on top, so every viewer sees it, on every device.

ADDED TIME & EVENT CARDS
Fouls, yellow cards, red cards, offside, and stoppage time each get their own on-screen callout, triggered right from the sideline in one tap.

HD THROUGH 4K
Pick a resolution and that's exactly what's delivered — no hidden downscaling. Bitrate adjusts itself automatically to match your connection, so the stream stays smooth even when the signal isn't perfect.

SMOOTH ZOOM CONTROL
A dedicated on-screen zoom stick sweeps across every lens on the phone, so following the play stays smooth instead of a jump-cut pinch.

GIMBAL SUPPORT (BETA)
Mount your phone on a DJI Osmo Mobile or DockKit-compatible gimbal and let it do the tracking: Fixed Point Camera Mode physically re-aims the gimbal to keep the play centered, right alongside its existing digital pan and zoom.

GAME CONTROLLER READY
Connect a PlayStation or Xbox controller to zoom, drive the on-screen cursor, and go live — useful anytime the phone itself is mounted out of reach.

SAVE TO DEVICE
Turn on Save to Device before you go live and GalaSpo Stream keeps a local copy of the broadcast in your Photos library for the whole game — an automatic backup, no separate recording step needed.

BUILT-IN SCHEDULING
Set up the matchup once — teams, colors, logos, kickoff time — and it syncs straight to YouTube's own broadcast scheduling. Nothing to re-enter on game day.

WHAT YOU NEED
A YouTube channel enabled for live streaming. That's it — GalaSpo Stream connects to your existing channel through Google's own sign-in.

GalaSpo Stream does not sell your data, does not run ads, and does not operate a server that your video passes through — your stream goes directly from your phone to YouTube.

GalaSpo Stream 1.1 — Release Notes

Streaming reliability
- Reworked auto-bitrate tuning to prioritize keeping the stream alive over image quality on shaky connections — lower quality floors, a slower ramp-up, and a much more cautious recovery so the app stops chasing normal Starlink-style throughput swings.
- The app now reads YouTube's own live health status and reacts faster whenever YouTube flags the stream's bitrate as too low.
- Added a "Set to Lowest Latency" option in Settings (off by default) — off favors YouTube's more buffer-tolerant delivery, a better fit for outdoor streaming on an unstable connection.
- OAuth sign-in tokens moved to Keychain storage instead of on-disk settings, so they're encrypted at rest. Already-connected accounts stay signed in through the change.

Half-time mode
- New Pause/Resume control cross-fades the live feed to a still card, genuinely powers down the camera during the break, and dims the screen — instead of freezing on a frame, which used to look like a dropped connection to viewers.
- Replaced the placeholder half-time card with real designed artwork.

Broadcast controls & status
- Fixed the stop flow so the "uploading remaining footage" message, the final summary screen, and the Stopping button all update together instead of drifting out of sync.
- The bitrate readout now scales automatically (kbps/mbps/gbps) and turns yellow when the stream drops below YouTube's own recommended minimum. The thermal indicator now shows a small phone icon so it's clearly about device temperature.
- Added a destructive "Disconnect" action in Settings alongside "Switch Channel," for fully signing out of a YouTube account.

Overlays & graphics
- Penalty shootout overlay: rebuilt the formula engine behind its layout so elements stay properly centered regardless of score or team-name length. Added a Hide/Show toggle for the shootout card.
- Fixed a severe on-device slowdown caused by uploading full-resolution photo-library logos — logos are now automatically resized before upload, with no visible quality loss in the overlay.

Polish
- New branded boot screen shown on launch.
- Added a "Stabilize Video" toggle in Settings (off by default) for smoother handheld footage, without the extra heat/latency cost of more aggressive stabilization modes.
