I’ve played Galaga since childhood, I just find all of the squads and ways to keep progress is a bit all over the place. The company is as bad as they come for caring about their players. They could less how much money you’ve spent or anything else. They used to make things right when the game glitched (and you lost a turn and the score that’s important to your guild) and gave us another turn. Now they just pretend like you didn’t ask the question or ask to have the turn restored. If you press them they’ll eventually tell you to kick rocks “we hope you understand” or “please record the issue you’re having” which is obviously absurd after the fact. They’re as greedy and heartless as they come. They care about their money and that’s it. Period, end of story. It will cost you 5-10k (yes 5000-10,000 dollars) to be competitive with the heavy hitters. You get a free relatively easy 80-90 levels out of 1000 and then it is near impossible to advance without constantly paying for upgrades or collecting free in game currency and watching ads daily for several months. There are other fun modes but again, you must pay or wait for months to advance a little at a time.
