The current event really has me annoyed, I am a pattern recognition person. The patterns on the energy extraction are undeniably incorrect. There was a solid 3 times where it would go one extra ding and slot so I wouldn’t get the 1,2,3,or 4% of the gyms. Very agitating to say the least. BUT; there are multiple HUGE issues that impact my enjoyment heavily. First, it’s entirely luck-based. I paid $70 in in-app purchases just to speed up my progress, but the only thing that actually gets me through a hard level is when the game randomly gives me a boost. NOT when I watch an ad, NOT when I pay money, NOT when I do something special. Also, WHY ARE WE STILL USING ENERGY?!?!? Why can’t I just play the game? Why do you feel the need to limit how much of your game I can play at a time? It’s so predatory and evil, forcing me to spend money just to play a game I own. It’s despicable, greedy, and disgusting. All in all, the game itself is amazing. Why not make a good game and pay once? Now the AI just straight up cheats during the events. Been playing for quite some time and investing. You cannot get the full/cool rewards from the first 7 days without spending money. It's literally impossible. I've gotten to level 15 normal and level 10 elite. Not close to beating either, so all I can do is watch video rewards to try and get more lacking resources to upgrade the towers. You can't do anything without spending money or watching videos. Improvements are infrequent and so miniscule they will not sway your luck in battle. RNG played a huge role in your potential success as well. If you draw a few wrong cards early on your run is doomed. Would be much better with more meaningful upgrades. But then I guess you wouldn’t have to spend money constantly to win. В этой игре от игрока не зависит ровным счетом ничего, игрок может просто тыкать кнопки наугад и все равно либо победит, если подкрученный в худшую сторону рандом в этот раз на стороне игрока, либо проиграет несмотря на все свои попытки строить стратегии и обдумывать каждое улучшение. 1 звезду накинул за понравившийся визуал. And then slow experience, slow cards and upgrades, and face defeats 90% of the time or more. Lose, get a few things, get a tiny bit better, upgrade, lose and upgrade a tiny bit and try to win levels. What makes it different is that some levels actually challenge you — you can get stuck and really have to work to beat them. Plus, there are no annoying pop-up ads, which is amazing. It’s super exciting to unlock new weapons and finally clear a tough level. ### 5/5 — Fun but too RNG focused *2026-08-11, version 0.19.0* Some combos require a level 3 and level 2 tower, yet without paying for no ads it’s extremely rare that it could happen. I’d suggest increasing the odds of a double draw or adding a triple draw in the future. I.e. the guardian charge… it doesn’t make sense to have an entire skill tree dedicated to guardian upgrades yet I rarely see the charge abilities within the game. Just make it dmg, fire rate, crit, and attribute based instead of hopefully getting the charge ability then having to invest in upgrading that in game by ignoring upgrades for the other towers. The grinding system is fun, but there are combos that I haven’t even been able to see in action because it’s so hard to obtain which is a shame because they have interesting effects.
