No controller support for a game like this sucks, though ### 4/5 — So much potential, but…. *2026-07-28* This game really is fun. I really, really want to like it more, but I’m finding out that is centered around endlessly spending money. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind spending on a game I enjoy. I view it as any other hobby I enjoy. But the way this game goes about it is predatory. It’s true galaxy on fire requires certain purchases, but they were one-time purchases then you could enjoy the game. This games requires you to spend consistently. They make missions too hard unless you go buy the $13 (or much more)ship. Then next tier it’s again, and again. It doesn’t end, having to spend like that just to do missions and play the game is ridiculous. Also, not being able to swap equipment off of ships, having to delete it, forcing you to constantly re buy just to move things around or when you get a new ship is also a bad design. Especially when you have high-star items. But hey, it gets you to spend more money right? I understand the need for the devs to make money, I have no problem with that. But this is over the top. Also, the chances to upgrade weapons doesn’t seem to be totally random either. It will fail constantly with a 90%, 80% success rate. Forcing you to watch (a very long) video. I want to like this game so much. And I’d have no problem throwing some money at it, but the way it is currently set up is unacceptable ### 5/5 — Русский язык в игре есть! *2026-06-30* Русский язык в игре есть, не через переводчик. Графика на уровне, звездных систем мало но разработчики накатывают обновления. Донат есть, но без него спокойно можно, прям на изи спокойно. Не напрягаясь за не делю уперся в кап уровня кораблей. Можно купить любой корабль если торговать. Рекомендую. Если честно хотелось бы больше звездных систем и разнообразить миссии. ### 4/5 — It’s fun! *2026-06-29* I enjoyed this. The missing star is because I have other games that I like better than this one right now, so I’m not completely obsessed with this one. Also, this game makes my phone reeeally hot, and that makes me nervous because I need my phone! Hope I can play it on a big screen, because it's awesome so far! ### 2/5 — Well i WAS kind of obsessed… *2026-06-22* This update cured me of that. Now weapon upgrades are subject to the success check. Which means in some cases you have to waste the already precious resources to try dozens of times before a weapon will be successfully upgraded. Which effectively keeps upgrades behind a paywall. It’s a middle finger to anyone who has been playing the game for a while and has already spent money on items. ### 5/5 — Sweet! *2026-06-19* This game is awesome reminds me of starfield but much more fast paced! There’s not much point playing beyond level 4 ships, unless you can afford the VERY expensive equipment and upgrade game of chance. I have not bought anything so these need refunding please and then I will change my review back to 5*Very impressed, it is worth a try if this is your kinda thing. I’ve knocked a star off though for the fact when you change equipment you lose the item you’re changing from which is ridiculous and very costly. ### 4/5 — Galaxy on fire replacement *2026-06-17* I’ve been wanting a Galaxy on fire 2 style game, this is it. Mostly an improvement but the system of upgrading is terrible. It goes off a sliding thingy that you have no control over. Like it’s by chance. Absolute garbage. Other than that this game fills the void of Galaxy on fire. I’d give 5 stars if they fixed that. ### 2/5 — Wrong direction *2026-06-15* I was enjoying the game but this new update made the weapon upgrade system the same as the ship attribute upgrades where it’s random chance indicator. Each successful upgrade lowers the chance of success the next time. Parts and cost of upgrade is already high meaning there’s a high chance of wasted parts and money. Terrible system. It’s meant only to encourage players to play ads to increase chance or redo an upgrade attempt. Plus, I don’t think that the ads are being delivered honestly. Often the same ad will loop 3 or 4 times before the reward is given out. I doubt advertisers would like paying out multiple times per attempt. Dev, you have a solid game here that players will download and enjoy. Looks great though - what a waste. ### 1/5 — losing in game currency *2026-06-13* I sent a message to Forge games this morning saying that I felt like I was losing crystals, but that maybe I was wrong… I took a screenshot and just since then I’ve already lost over 125 more since that message. the game is a very good gof clone, but something has to be done about losing currency, not very cool. i’ll be happy to give the game a better rating when the issue is resolved. ### 1/5 — Zu schwer *2026-06-06* Das Spiel ist ohne Zweifel schön gemacht, aber die Kämpfe sind nicht zu bestehen, wenn man nicht sehr viel Geld für seine Raumschiffe ausgibt. Hier stimmt die Balance zwischen den Interessen der Entwickler und denen der Spieler nicht mehr. Ab einem bestimmten Level ist das Spiel nicht mehr spielbar - wenn man das Schiff verbessert, werden die Gegner auch stärker. Je weiter man kommt, desto öfter scheitern Upgrades, das ist frustrierend, wenn man sich bemüht, die Materialien einzusammeln. Nicht einzusehen ist ebenfalls, dass man nie weiß, wieviele Fragmente man braucht, um sein Schiff zu verbessern. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt: Je mehr Missionen man absolviert, desto weniger verdient man - wer das Spiel gerne spielt, wird also bestraft. Oder wollen die Entwickler vermeiden, dass die Spieler nichts mehr bei ihnen zukaufen? Und leider scheinen sich die Entwickler aus Feedback nichts zu machen. ### 1/5 — Can Get Support *2026-06-05* App Store sends you to discord and then you get a message that the invite link doesn’t work anymore. I’ve been playing this game on my phone and downloaded it for my iPad but when I tried to sign on it said I needed to check my internet connection. I updated my iOS and deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. I’d like to make this app work but maybe it’s already broken. ### 1/5 — Missing purchased in game items *2026-06-03* Every once in a while when I change out weapons or equipment for certain missions that require said weapons and equipment, those items disappear. I don’t know if that’s a glitch or the mechanics of the game but I’m definitely not gonna spend money on this game, on items I purchase just to see them disappear. Тут короче пока всё нравится; надеюсь, по жести не утекут в донат со временем (единовременная покупка была бы кстати)! Из того, что жестко выбесило: сбой инета - сразу вылетает из игры в окно «проверьте интернет», а, ну, и только на vpn работает… ### 5/5 — Неплохая игра *2026-08-16* графика не уровня 2026, а скорее 2020. Но в целом миленько играется ### 5/5 — GOF auf der Höhe der Zeit *2026-08-12* Wer einen Nachfolger für Galaxy On Fire 2 sucht, ist hier richtig. Technisch und Grafisch auf der Höhe der Zeit. Allerdings ist die Rahmenhandlung und das Setting deutlich schlichter. So gibt es z.B. keine Alien-Völker und -Territorien. Das Spielt macht Fun und man kann Stunden verbringen ohne einen Cent zu investieren. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die animierten Avatare wirken wie Zombie-Puppen. Das geht heutzutage deutlich besser. Je commençais à désespérer ! Je rejoins d'ailleurs l'avis évoquant une similitude avec Galaxy on Fire 2 HD ! Mais avec un game play éblouissant en prime, tant la navigation des vaisseaux y est vraiment très sympas ! Bref, je recommande vivement ce jeu gratuit plein de promesses ! D'ailleurs, l'équipe de l'AppStore devrait mettre Galaxy Division un peu plus en avant, car je suis tombé dessus tout à fait par hasard au gré de mes recherches. Or, ce jeu spatial est une pépite qui mérite sans attendre la première place sur le podium ! Petit bémol toutefois, rien de bien méchant : Je trouve que la musique n'arrive pas à la cheville du jeu lui-même. Elle est beaucoup trop rythmée, voire trop répétitive... J'ai dû la couper, car personnellement, je n'accroche pas... Quitte à nous proposer une musique qui soit très rythmée, une musique à la Mad Max façon Fury Road, ce serait vraiment le Top, voire aussi façon Mortal Engines !
