Why they can’t seem to fix this is beyond me. Can NEVER use my points to get tickets. Can NEVER see the tickets I buy or my purchases so the tickets are just lost. Other theater apps had a feature to an to Apple wallet or watch that pops up when walking in to the theaters makes it an experience in its self. Gee, I wonder why people don’t go to the movies anymore? ### 3/5 — Needs option to add to wallet *2023-12-25, version 6.0.7* They need to bring back the option to add tickets to Apple wallet. It’s a hassle having to print out the tickets because 9/10 the app doesn’t load in the theater or you have to search through your emails to locate the confirmation if you get a signal in the theater. ### 3/5 — Galaxy Theaters great… App not so great! *2023-11-21, version 6.0.7* I’ve had this app for a long time, and I have to start by saying it is so much better than when it first started. Two major significant problems with this app right now…. Please fix! First is that there is NO option to contact anyone on the app, about problems with the app. The theater level personal aren’t involved of app development so they cannot help me if there’s a problem either. Who is someone supposed to contact if something is going wrong in the app? Second, and VERY annoying is that there is not option to go back to previous screen. For example: When I am looking at the movie showings for the day, then select one to read more about it-I now can only access that movie information and it’s showtimes. I cannot simply select an arrow to go backwards and continue to look at and read about the remaining movie showings. I have to select “Home” again to see the list of showings and it is back at the top, not where I left off Finally, my app froze when I was trying to move between the upper L menu, the “more” menu and their different options. ### 2/5 — The 90’s want their app back. *2023-07-06, version 6.0.7* Shocked at how terrible and outdated this app is. I have to type my credit card every time because the app isn’t smart enough to look at my saved cards on my device. Same with name, phone number and email. Take ot one step further, why can’t I order and pay with the app?!? Just a very disappointing app for such a large company. ### 1/5 — Bring previous version back *2023-06-10, version 6.0.7* Does not remember payment method and you have to type card information every time. It does not show your purchased movies so don’t delete your email for proof of purchase. Pretty undeveloped app as it stands. ### 3/5 — Good App but… *2023-05-31, version 6.0.7* Can we get a back button? Having to go all tje way back to home after looking at a future release is annoying. Some navigation tools would be great. ### 3/5 — Theater is nice, app needs work *2023-04-14* Nice enough theater, they make you have the receipt printed which kinda defeats the purpose of the app. There is also the issue that the app doesn’t save your info. What other system do we have these days that’s so barbaric we have to enter our credit card and personal info every time we buy tickets? ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!! *2023-04-08, version 6.0.7* Huge Warning!! And huge red flag for one of the version updates to say “fixed issue with purchased tickets not showing in app”. I bought tickets online, put in my email address, but no tickets sent to email or confirmation… I would’ve even taken a QR code. Now I’m out $36 bucks for nothing. Take my warning and do not download this app. They will take your money. ### 1/5 — Android does it Better *2023-03-17, version 6.0.5* Can’t purchase tickets to the correct seat because the screen can’t slide over. It needs a back button to go back to the main page without having to close the app and restart it again. App needs a lot of work and only seems to work well on android. ### 1/5 — Does NOT show seats *2023-03-06, version 6.0.5* The App has recently started to mess up on seat numbering. Seat #1 is not showing up in the upper rows. I go to the Legends location in Sparks NV. There are lots of examples, but here's a specific example: look at John Wick for Friday March 24th, Digital Screen, 9pm showing. The upper rows of seats DO NOT show a "Seat 1". This is a problem. ### 1/5 — When updating a app takes away features *2023-02-20, version 6.0.3* This app used to be pretty effective, simple and easy. But for some reason they changed it a couple months ago a ugly color scheme along with many annoyances. Constantly having to log back in to your account because it logged you out or the simple fact that once you buy a movie ticket, it doesn’t always show up in the app and you have to go to your email to find it. Not only that but taking away a saved card or having no other payment methods besides having to type out your card every single time is quite annoying. I have no idea why they took a step back when updating the app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2026-05-02, version 7.1.0* Purchased tickets for a movie, doesn’t show up in the app even when refreshing. I have to load the website and login there to see my tickets - according to other reviews, the app has seemed to be busted in this way for years with no fix. What is even the point of the app if it doesn’t actually save your tickets, or let you redeem rewards? ### 1/5 — Fix your app *2025-11-10, version 7.0.5* Horrible app. It’s 2025 and it doesn’t remember login or credit card info and no Apple Pay. ### 1/5 — Just horrible. *2025-08-10, version 7.0.5* App is garbage. Nearly impossible to use. Atrocious. Save receipts or ask at box office for a them to be printed out. It does display credits for refreshments. The page is blank. Can’t browse movies. Can’t buy tickets. ### 1/5 — Buy in person *2025-06-22, version 7.0.4* The app is glitchy and has been for a while. The purchase button doesn’t always display what’s in process. Also clicking the rewards button keeps routing into my calendar. Best of all when you buy in person the theater doesn’t charge a $5 convenience fee smh ### 1/5 — No QR codes for tickets in App *2025-04-14, version 7.0.4* When trying to view purchased tickets, all are being shown as past purchases and are thus not giving the QR codes to scan at the theater. Only workaround I have is saving the QR codes from the confirmation emails. ### 1/5 — Dumb app *2024-08-14, version 7.0.1* This App always crashes - it’s easier to log in on website than use this thing that always seems to have something wrong with it. I keep having to delete then reinstall it so it would work. The staff is very helpful and extremely friendly. The seating is comfortable and I love that I can go online and pick the seats that I want. Especially for the blockbusters that are starting to come out again!
