I have been using Fierce for years now, and it was great. The UI was clean and easy to read. When I read about the new company transaction, I was excited that the useless 'cash management' tab was going to be replaced with something "useful". My two biggest gripes with the new GalaxyOne: Premium Yield advertising can never be hidden (and you must be accredited or meet a criteria), and while the new UI is organized I can assure with certainty that there is loads more wasted space as you are required to touch the app more for example to view more details like Unrealized Gain/Loss. Overall, this is not a welcome update as there really were no measurable improvements aside from getting rid of the useless cash management goals tracker. **Developer response:** We appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback. Bring back the old app UI ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2025-11-18, version 2.0.12* Really great and modern app for trading equity, crypto, earning interest and soon stacking ### 5/5 — Amazing platform *2025-11-12* I’ve been using GalaxyOne for a few months now and have almost nothing but good things to say. I’ve decided to write an in-depth review to express my positive experience. Firstly, the concept of the platform itself is unique and highly competitive with other investing options. It’s an all in one app that allows you to buy both stocks and crypto, directly linked to a checking account with interest rates comparable to some of the best SAVINGS accounts. I couldn’t find any other platform that offers this. This app is great for those who want the extra yield from investing themselves (rather than putting it all in a savings account), while not feeling guilty about their uninvested cash (as it earns 4% APY). Secondly, the customer service is excellent. When I first got the app I was unaware of the regulations involved with Pattern Day Trading, leading my brokerage account to be automatically frozen. I was promptly called by a representative who personally explained the rules to me and graciously unfroze my account (many banks won’t do this). Currently GalaxyOne does not offer debit cards, but due to my particular circumstances, they offered to give me a custom one. I felt this was particularly exceptional. I’ve had a few other interactions with customer service, and all have been well. There’s a customer service chat built into the app, and they answer immediately, respectfully, and diligently. Best service I’ve seen from a bank ever. There are some issues with the user interface, but this is understandable due to the fact that the app is relatively new. Because it’s a smaller broker, I’ve noticed certain stocks are unavailable during pre-market and after hours trading. They also don’t offer options trading. But these downsides are negligible compared to all the positives. Overall I would highly recommend GalaxyOne, and I have personally recommended it to family and friends. That being said: *2025-10-16* I’ll say some good things first: I’ve had great experiences with customer service! I really like the user interface, it’s clean, sleek, and easy to understand. The debit card offered with the checking account is awesome! ——— However: I’ve watched the interest rate slowly decline from what it was a year ago, an exceptional 5.25%, now to 4%. I would like it if this exceptional service offered an exceptional rate once again, it doesn’t have to happen tomorrow. Easy to use interface, 4% FDIC insured APY on cash (8% for some), and access to stocks and crypto. Coming from someone who has used a combination of coinbase/schwab/pnc — galaxy provides a superior 3 in 1 one, one stop solution. Doesn’t offer options trading, doesn’t offer mutual funds, limited tools for analysis, it’s the type of app you’d expect to see in 2017. ### 3/5 — Not great at all *2025-10-06, version 2.0.1* Market data is wrong and can’t even edit the watchlist easily. User experience navigating around the app is funky in so many places also. It opens with welcome page starting with “Institutional strength…” 1/2 a page of text and everything is frozen….no links, can’t move the page. Can only close the app. ### 1/5 — Ruined Great Service *2025-10-06, version 2.0.1* This was a really nice banking service before they turned it into this horrid monstrosity the last day or two. All of the external account tracking and budgeting and custom net worth tracking destroyed. The crypto nonsense is being pushed to the front, which matches the rebrand to this faux futuristic name. There is a vulgar word coined by Cory Doctorow that applies to what they’ve done to what was a tremendously useful and easy to use app. The font is now way too small on older or smaller iphones, to the point of nausea. Extremely disappointed that I need to find a new banking service because of how utterly loathsome this new version is, on every level. Even asked my friend to try with his own info and they wouldn’t verify him. Support can’t do anything about it, fix your verification system ### 1/5 — Can’t update nor use the App *2024-08-30, version 1.13.9* The latest version requires iOS 17.1 or later! But what if my phone doesn’t support this iOS version? Please change back your old version asap. ### 1/5 — Still broken *2024-06-06, version 1.11.2* Couldn’t sign up months ago due to software errors. Now I have an account but it’s complete because of software errors and now it opens but won’t load any information into the dashboard. ### 1/5 — Do not use Fierce *2024-04-27, version 1.9.44* Multiple $1000 unauthorized and random transactions were deducted from my account and Fierce has no explanation as to why. I would not trust having your money in this app. ### 1/5 — Fierce Stole My Funds *2024-03-21* I completed a deposit before, and there were no issues, however I have made another deposit, and received an email that funds had been recieved. However I can not see the amount listed in my account. I tried to call customer service multiple times, at the phone number, but they do not have anyone on the other end. After feeling very impressed with the software and felt confident about the service I started to try moving my money around. It says the funds have been there for several days now but it won’t let be move the money. Very unhappy. ### 1/5 — Beware of possible atm issues *2024-02-23* As much as I wanted to stay with fierce. I must warn other customers. Unfortunately because of an issue with Fierce they closed my acct because of an error on there behalf. In Dec 2023 I used a CVS atm in Vegas to withdrawal $400. The ATM didn’t withdrawal the $400 but the acct debited the $400 out of my acct. this happened more then once and they said the investigated and said there was no foul play and the money was withdrawn. I explained to them this is incorrect I 1000%would never lie about this. Then they deducted another 1500$ out of my acct for withdrawals that never happened. It took months for them to correct this. And then they just closed my acct with no explanation to why. I’m assuming they’re accusing me of cheating them out of money.
