### 2/5 — Is this a real thing?

*2026-09-02, version 2026.08.21*

Bizarre, confusing interface where you can’t request appointments and no one replies to you despite an allegedly always-on infrastructure. It almost feels like a data-gathering expedition and I regret providing personal, health information to an app that is unresponsive to patient needs.

### 3/5 — App is easy to use. The service- not so much.

*2026-08-27, version 2026.08.21*

I’ve used virtual health for a while and had to switch to this service because of my health plan.

I’m not really impressed. It’s always a new clinician so even if you have a chronic condition, you have to go over the basics every time. They don’t know your history. They are always friendly though.

Good luck getting a timely response. It took three weeks of back and forth to get a simple referral to a specialist. Even the specialist said they had to go back and forth with them several times. There are definitely more attentive virtual health options out there.

### 3/5 — Communication is bad

*2026-08-22, version 2026.08.20*

They don’t get back to you if you have a question or are trying to follow up. It’s been a week since I’ve reached out for a follow up on next steps with other attempts during that time and nothing.

### 2/5 — App crashes

*2026-07-30, version 2026.07.08*

The service are amazing, but the actual app itself is a buggy mess that will routinely crash over and over, forcing you to type out the same thing 3-5 times before being able to actually send it without the app crashing and deleting it.

### 3/5 — Make some changes

*2026-07-13, version 2026.06.15*

I really think that you should take out the advertising of 24/7 bc that makes to believe people will get a reply quick which is not true. I will send a message and wait up to 4 days to a week for one response for them not to reply again once I replied to them. One conversation about the same thing shouldn’t take 2 weeks and it’s not easy to make an appointment because of it. Either change the time response and actually bc 24/7 or take it out of the description of which you use to advertise that it is 24/7.

### 3/5 — Nice staff super long wait times

*2026-06-13, version 2026.06.03*

I normally don’t write reviews but because of the change of service and wait times I had to say something. I’ve had Galileo through my insurance for about a year and a half and for the first 9 months or so they were great I had fast service, quick refills and doctors that were able
To get to the heart of my issues and as someone that travels frequently for a living it was super convenient to have this service. But recently I’ve had issues with refilling my prescriptions in time and I’m a type 1 diabetic I have a chronic medical issue and I literally cannot survive without my meds and it took almost ten days for my issues to get resolved and for me to be able to refill my prescription. And I’ve been trying to achieve a goal in losing weight and in my appointment in April I was informed because of my particular health condition that it was required for me to follow up with a specialist and get my labs done to qualify for weight loss medication. Unfortunately, due to my busy work schedule and constraints in finding a in person specialist it took about 2 months for me to do everything. And now that I have submitted everything that I needed to get started. I sent in my labs let them know what it was for and if I can schedule a follow up and all I get back from them is if you need anything else contact us with any questions and yes of course I do that’s why I messaged you in the first place like why aren’t we reading messages properly anymore. I don’t know what’s going on but I’m just disappointed in the decline in service and wouldn’t recommend anyone signing up until they get themselves together and restore the service to how it used to be.

### 4/5 — Takes 24-48 hours to respond

*2026-06-12, version 2026.06.03*

The app states you’ll hear a response in a few hours, but it took more like 2 days. But once I did get a response, it was a swift process.

### 1/5 — App experience ruins it

*2026-06-09, version 2026.06.03*

This app and the process of requesting services is so frustrating. There’s so many steps and the tools don’t work as expected. Uploads don’t work correctly. It’s really frustrating that they force you to go on a mobile app as I have all my documentation on my computer

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE - SCAM

*2026-06-05, version 2026.05.29*

Took my money 3 days ago. Will not respond to chats. Will not respond to customer support. This app is a scam. They will take your money and stop responding

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2026-05-25, version 2026.05.11*

This app used to be great. Now it takes forever to get a response. I did a simple prescription refill request and it took over 24 hours. The fee used to be $30/month, now it’s $50/month plus $10 per consultation. I’m ready to cancel.

### 1/5 — Declining

*2026-05-01, version 2026.04.17*

Used to be great but they are super slow to respond now. I feel the care is great but they are most likely overwhelmed.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-04-28, version 2026.04.17*

Don’t expect any kind of quick turnaround time. When I say quick, like a response from a medical professional in under a week. Terrible service and response time. This is a far cry from what it is advertised to do. Honestly, look at the reviews closely, they are telling.

### 1/5 — System

*2026-04-25, version 2026.04.17*

Just like in person, you have ppl that think they know something because they went to school or have abbreviated letters behind their name.. So nevermind advocating for self , nevermind knowing your own body, nevermind POC have been getting misdiagnosed ignored among other things. Nevermind you request several times for tests to be ordered just to be ignored. Nevermind your symptoms get worse and they treat you the same as in person care. You have providers that random selected locations instead of asking, you have providers that are nasty, homophobic, or try to force their opinion onto you etc

### 1/5 — App login Error

*2026-04-22, version 2026.04.17*

App sign in keeps throwing error and App support page is 404.

### 1/5 — Mileage may w

*2026-04-21, version 2026.04.17*

Signed up through health insurance. Asked a question in the chat, took about 9 hours for a response basically saying “yes”. Submitted an intake to schedule a regular visit, took literally days for any response, then when I checked it I’ve been signed out of the app, and upon attempting to sign in Face ID doesn’t work and I get a login code for a screen that doesn’t exist. Not great. Probably never going to use it.

### 1/5 — Just get a regular doctor if you can

*2026-03-20, version 2026.03.13*

They are incapable of handling anything mildly complicated consistently. You’re dealing with all different kinds of providers constantly so if you randomly get a bad provider, you’re kind of screwed. Obviously there’s tons of issues with just getting an in person doctor but at least you can call them. Just calling a number is not an option with this app depending on the issue.

### 1/5 — The app sucks

*2026-03-11, version 2026.03.06*

This is not a very user friendly app at all. It is not helpful for setting easy appointments with your care team. There is no where to upload files or documents like medical history, and everything is overly complicated and not easy to navigate for when you need it. It has been a nightmare trying to get anything done with the same health care provider, and is always someone different every time. Which is not helpful for when trying to maintain consistency for medical support. I hate this app so much.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of Time

*2026-09-07, version 2026.08.21*

I don’t see how this is supposed to be an option for people who can’t get to other doctor’s offices. It takes them hours to respond yet there’s a “team” of people ready to help.

### 1/5 — BEWARE! Do Not Use Galileo!

*2026-08-20, version 2026.08.18*

Galileo does not respond to any billing questions. I’ve been disputing co-pay charges since November 2024 and I have yet to receive a response to any phone calls or emails or App request since then. In June 2026 I was told I owed $149.15, so I sent an email disputing the charges and requesting all documentation for the charges in my account. Mysteriously after that my account balance was reduced to $50, and no response was given as to why this was done. I’ve sent numerous emails and made multiple phone calls to the billing department, who actually isn’t the billing department because they can’t do anything except escalate the issue and don’t provide any tracking or ticket numbers. My EOB from my health insurance showed a $0 patient responsibility but this company is trying to charge me $50, double billed for the same visit, and is now threatening to send this to collections yet they refuse to provide any documentation showing that I actually do owe this money. Galileo is incredibly dysfunctional. Do not use them! Avoid at all costs. Check your EOB’s with your health insurance!

### 1/5 — Data Harvesting Scam

*2026-08-16, version 2026.08.07*

They wait until you upload all your personal information (drivers license, insurance card, health conditions and history, etc) to tell you they want $50 a month (billed 3 months at a time, so $150 minimum to start using this service) plus an additional $10 per visit. That’s the basic, least expensive tier. When you try to delete your account, there’s a message that says they’re keeping your personal information “in accordance with data laws”. You can’t just ask them to delete your information. It’ll be shared with whatever third parties they do business with first, and after they’ve had their way with it, then they’ll delete it. Absolute scam disguised as reputable “medical care”.

### 1/5 — They don’t respond

*2026-08-15, version 2026.08.07*

Tried to schedule an appointment but no one responds.

### 1/5 — App and website doesn’t work

*2026-07-25, version 2026.07.08*

I was referred by my insurance to use this app for virtual care. I’ve tried for days to get in and it doesn’t even work. Nobody from customer service even gets back to me when I email them.

First, I thought it was an Apple thing so My Son tried to use it on android and it’s the same thing

It just circles with the white screen

Every time it asks for my gender when I fill it in, it goes right back to the same screen whether I’m on the website or the app. It’s very bad.

### 1/5 — I had to go to the ER from lack of response

*2026-07-09, version 2026.06.15*

I asked for a refill of one of my extremely important meds and didn’t get a response for days now mind you I pay 50 a month plus 10 to even talk to a doctor and still can’t get an answer so for 60 bucks I got ignored until I had to go to the ER and pay 200 more for emergency meds that this app was originally paid for please don’t waste time or money on this app I want my money back and can’t even get support they legit have no support it says “page not found” when you try to reach them about it all

### 1/5 — Nickel and dime you

*2026-07-02, version 2026.06.15*

Be forewarned. They will start multiple text chats with you then charge you for each chat no matter how small the matter. Best to not waste your time with them and use Dr. On Demand for your virtual visits.

### 1/5 — HORRENDOUS WAIT TIME

*2026-07-01, version 2026.06.15*

Wait time is insanely long. It’s more than 24 hours to speak to a doctor.

### 1/5 — Nickel and dime you

*2026-06-22, version 2026.06.15*

Don’t use these guys. They are terrible. They will nickel and dime you and charge for chats. Try Dr. on demand instead

### 1/5 — Good idea badly executed

*2026-06-22, version 2026.06.15*

I thought this might work to replace my regular doctor visits since I’m relatively healthy and there are labs nearby. Initially filling out my information wasn’t too painful but scheduling a visit is. The app does not save anything until the visit is scheduled so it loses all entries if it locks up which it does often. I took the time to get a visit scheduled and chose next available appointment. The app indicates it’ll put in queue and I’d be contacted. Next day and I still have not been contacted. If this had been something urgent, I’d be at a clinic today. Waste of my time thus far.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wonderful healthcare

*2026-04-21, version 2026.04.17*

I absolutely love this platform. The healthcare providers are wonderful. They listen and address all concerns, provide wonderful support and follow up.

My insurance changed and actually does not cover the platform anymore. The platform offers a paid subscription service that allows you to use them as a provider. I tried another local primary care physician but just did not compare to the service or support that I have been receiving from the Galileo providers.

Thank you for all that you do

### 5/5 — Above and Beyond Care & User Friendly App!

*2026-03-14, version 2026.03.06*

I met with NP Jenna Katzman through the app and she was absolutely incredible. Navigating doctors, insurance, and medication approvals can sometimes feel like you’re shouting into the void and no one is really hearing you. That was definitely not the case here.

From the start, the app itself was incredibly easy to use. Scheduling an appointment was simple, and I was able to get in to see Jenna much faster than I expected. The whole process felt smooth and convenient, which made a stressful situation so much easier to handle.

Jenna truly listened, showed genuine care, and helped address the issue I was dealing with. The medication I needed required a prior authorization, and Jenna and her team were completely on top of it. They navigated not only through the prior authorization but were also able to get my coverage approved after the insurance originally denied me.

I had several questions along the way, and they were extremely responsive both through the online portal and over the phone.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support and attention I received. I would absolutely recommend Jenna and the Galileo team to any family member or friend. 11/10 experience!!!

### 5/5 — Such Great Care!

*2026-03-12, version 2026.03.06*

I cannot Thank you all enough for all the great assistance I have received from you all for the past 3 years! It is just exceptional. My team is so helpful and attentive, I never have an issue that isn’t addressed promptly! Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure that I have everything I need! My visit with Brittany today, was awesome! She was extremely patient and so thorough in explaining everything I had questions about! I am recommending Galileo to EVERYONE I KNOW!
Kudos!

### 5/5 — Virtual Healthcare That Cares!!!

*2026-01-30, version 2026.01.28*

Galileo has completely changed the way I get healthcare. I signed up through my United Healthcare ACA plan, so my membership is free, and the quality of care has been outstanding. The app gives me 24/7 access to urgent care, primary care, mental health support, therapy, medication refills, and even lab orders — all from home.
Every provider I’ve interacted with has been kind, patient, and thorough. They respond quickly, take my concerns seriously, and make it easy to get the care I need without traveling to a doctor’s office.
For anyone who wants convenient, compassionate virtual care, I highly recommend the Galileo Medical app. It’s available to UHC members and also in the App Store and Google Play.

### 5/5 — I love the doctors.

*2025-12-18, version 2025.12.05*

I am so happy using Galileo as my primary care provider.
The doctors are attentive, Patient. They actually listened to you. And don’t just try and push medicines on you. They follow up with you. They check on you periodically still going okay. I have no complaints on it Comes to them and they’re practice. I had been seen. My Doctor for over 18 years and it wanted to do is give me more medicine, more medic everything, which just caused more problems because of side effects, and when I tried to bring that up, they would just tell me that it wasn’t the medication or that that was part of being able to keep my blood pressure controlled, and then I would have to deal with it. Since seeing the doctors that Galileo, I am finally realizing what a real physician that cares about the Healthcare they provide should be. I highly recommend it to anybody I have recently referred family members and friends. Who have all signed up with them, and are very happy with their results.

### 5/5 — The people are great, app needs work

*2025-11-12, version 2025.10.23*

TL;DR & advice for current/potential users: The app (UX and the service design flow) leads to frustration but the actual people/team are great! If you’re having issue, try reaching out via email/phone first to get it resolved. Shout out to Charlotte!

The full context for anyone who enjoys reading &/or are bored and got nothing better to do:
I first got Galileo via my health insurance and my experience with them was good enough that I decided to get the annual membership once my insurance no longer covered it. There were some initial confusions/WTH moments when I first tried to use the app as a OPP member (vs insurance) but it wasn’t anything major and I could low key understand why they did it the way they did. However, this morning I woke up to a billing issue around one of my cases which did make me think that Galileo was just trying to milk their members for as much money as possible. I reached out to General Support via app which is where I think most people stop at for customer service because the response I got was very template and cold/generic and it reflects a lot of the reviews I see. I reached out too via email and got a support ticket with no response five hours later. I reached out also via phone. Initially reached a very nice person (Hilary) who clearly didn’t have the authority to refund me for the billing but she did try to get me to get her manager (who was busy). She promised to have her manager call me back and I was honestly expecting the callback to be at a much later time. Less than an hour later, Charlotte called and not only explained and cleared up any questions/confusions that I had but also resolved the issue with a far better outcome than I’d expected. That said, I hope Galileo improves their app UX/onboarding and/or how they’re wording certain things to avoid any further misunderstandings. (I also hope they continue to invest more in their people/team cause tech can clearly only do so much)

Shout out to Hilary (or Hillary if her name has two Ls) and Charlotte for the great support! I can tell that they both read up + familiarized themselves with my issue & there were great communication between them. Hilary/Hillary understood my issue after reading my app support messages and immediately tried to offer the next best solution (getting her manager) rather than trying to spoon feed me the same generic answer. When Charlotte got on the phone, I didn’t have to repeat myself again and instead was offered clear & concise answers and solutions.

### 5/5 — The best app

*2025-10-29, version 2025.10.23*

They have helped me more than the in person doctors where I live. I cant thank the doctors enough.

### 5/5 — Super amazing healthcare team.

*2025-08-12, version 2025.07.30*

24/7 access to healthcare, they refilled all my prescription.

### 5/5 — Earache from swimming

*2025-08-08, version 2025.07.30*

My first experience was a wonderful professional and great great advice.

### 5/5 — Truly personalized service through a Telehealth App

*2025-07-28*

I've been using Galileo for about a year and a half, and they are absolutely the best telescope-health service I've ever found. Most telehealth doctors will offer quick virtual appointments for very basic services, but are unwilling to spend time on more complex needs. Galileo isn't like that at all, from migraine management, to completing required disability accommodation form from my school, providing medication travel documents when traveling out of the country. Very familiar with the limitations of telehealth I've experienced in the past, anytime I've reached out to them, hesitant, to ask "is this something you guys can do for me?" I've always found somebody friendly, kind and empathetic on the other end willing to help me make it happen. Genuinely appreciate everyone here!

The one downside I would say is that sometimes They are a little backed up (compared to traditional in office appointments I would say they still do better, the wait is usually only a couple of days) however compared to other telehealth services if you need a more urgent care, they don't always have their ability to move it that speed. Which is understandable, popularity comes at it cost, but if (unlike me) you just have a 1 off occasional urgent care needs, as opposed to more PCP-type care or medication management, this may not be the best fit for your needs.
