## What is Gallagher Mobile Connect?

Gallagher Mobile Connect turns your smartphone into a secure digital key. Whether you're entering a building, accessing a room, or displaying your ID, the app provides a convenient and contactless way to move through secure spaces—no physical access card needed. 

What you can do: 
- Unlock doors by opening the app and presenting your phone to the access reader 
- Unlock doors from a distance, by selecting the access reader in the app 
- Carry your digital ID on your phone 
- Interact with your building’s security system 
- Stay informed with real-time push notifications 
- Add your Employee Badge to Apple Wallet (where supported)  

Once you're set up by your organisation, just open the app and you're ready to go.  

Tip: Ensure Bluetooth® is enabled for the Mobile Connect app. You can find helpful tips and settings in the app’s Help section.  

Requires a valid credential, which is distributed and managed by your card or credential issuer, using the Gallagher Command Centre software.

The app does the job. But the app icon one of the most ugly icons I have ever seen on a phone. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Would be even better if the icon can be updated

Works great and saves me from carrying a proximity card or fob.  I almost always have my phone on me but when I don’t I CERTAINLY have my Apple Watch…the thing is the app doesn’t work with the Watch. Lots of people calling for it so come on Gallagher, smash the watermelon and give the people what they want!!!

Our building made us go to this app and every time I try to open a door, my credit card from wallet constantly comes up when scanning to open a door.  Several people have mentioned it at our office as well.  This need a a serious look at!  Be careful!

So it seems that this app doesn’t allow for iCloud backup, and no method to manually export and import to new phone. If I go into the apps settings and click on my credentials, it shows them encoded as hex values, both my key and the site key… but there is no way to create a new credential on new phone with this data??? So useless.

Not the most efficient entry app for boom entrances, always has issues when there’s multiple points of entry within a close vicinity. Self selection lags.
