### 2/5 — Needs an update

*2026-06-13, version 1.0.2*

I’d say it works but man is it lengthy and hard to download the videos or pics from the device unless you carry your laptop in the wilderness and retrieve the memory card then view it there. Defeats the whole purpose of its functionality and who would bring their laptop anyways.

### 2/5 — Game camera pro

*2025-08-16, version 1.0.2*

I have a very hard time connecting to this camera. It’s hit or miss. It’s so frustrating that I need to buy another trail cam, but it won’t be this brand. The camera is fine. The app is terrible.

### 2/5 — Good pics,terrible app connection

*2024-07-22, version 1.0.2*

As many others have reported the camera is good but the connection to the app is at best intermittent. Even with the camera right next to the iPhone or iPad connection is neigh on impossible straight away. I have lost count of how many times I have had to re load the app. That doesn’t always solve the issue either.
I have had my camera 18 mths now and am so disappointed I would love to get my money back. I spent ages with email back and forth with there help line which in fairness were trying to help. However, I gave up and shelved the Camera. I have now tried again to connect and it is still hit and miss. Annoyingly, the company have done nothing to improve this situation despite complaints date back over a year. Very sad as the camera takes good pics. If only you could get to see them with a little more ease.
Very disappointed . Paul

### 2/5 — Aktualisierung?

*2024-05-15, version 1.0.2*

Ich hatte auf eine Aktualisierung gehofft, da tut man sich aber wohl schwer…

### 1/5 — Crap app

*2023-09-21, version 1.0.2*

Camera is good but the app sucks! Clunky to use, it’s hit and miss when it connects to your phone. I’ve stood directly beside the camera and it won’t connect. Awful

### 3/5 — Needs a little improvement but not bad

*2023-09-04, version 1.0.2*

At first I was going to give up with this app
But with perseverance it does work it’s fiddly but the quality of the pictures and video is good a few more updates and improvements and I think this will be a good 4-5 stars

### 1/5 — Terrible becomes very slow to download

*2023-08-11, version 1.0.2*

Awful app. Clunky, becomes slow almost 1 second per percent of download. The camera is good. Completely let down by moronic amateur app developers.

### 3/5 — Select all for download

*2023-08-06, version 1.0.2*

The select all function only selects the thumbnails visible on the screen, not all of the photos on the camera. Need a way to quickly download all photos on camera.

### 2/5 — Great Camerq App not so good

*2023-07-26, version 1.0.2*

The camera works great with decent quality. However the App has some serious bugs not least if you view or even list the videos on the memory card using the app the files get deleted from the memory card.

The connection to the camera from the app is a bit involved but does work and makes sense when you think about what you are doing. Wifi transfer speed is terrible, but biggest issue is deleting files.

If you don’t use the app the files are retained on the memory card just fine.

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of improvement

*2023-07-19, version 1.0.2*

The app itself is very unreliable. Frequently crashes while downloading pictures/ videos.

Needs a bulk download option too.

Not recommended. Better get an micro sd card reader to get your pictures/ videos.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time - and you will

*2023-07-07, version 1.0.2*

Horrible app, well matched to a horrible product sold on Amazon as “Digital Wildlife Camera” and probably other products which also share a total disregard for customer understanding, clarity, and the English language. Nothing about the app makes sense and after a half hour trying to make it work, I read the app reviews and I can see this is a common experience. It’s as if they didn’t even imagine employing a customer experience professional, nor can they themselves imagine being a non-expert. If they could, they’d realize only a person who’s already set up a trail camera will ever figure this out.

### 3/5 — Glitches on App

*2023-07-04, version 1.0.2*

I have used this App in the field for 5 weeks - the solar is great and the wifi ok if you’re within 20 feet or so. My issue is with file management and retention - there appears to be a glitch when looking at video files - if saved to the local folder then some are deleted from the card. Sometimes when looking at the files one day ( nothing else) then the following day they have disappeared and are not retained on the card ( automatically deleted) it seems. I’m going to test it again after reformatting the card and reloading the App. Other than that it’s a good camera - I’m just worried I’ll lose key videos. After the reformat and the App reinstall the unit worked well for a while but has now reverted to the same glitch - on logging in via wifi, 39 videos left on the device mysteriously disappeared? The card reformatting function is useful but I have a high quality card in place and still having problems. I’m using monitoring periods and without but something is wrong here.

Still deleting all video files from the card ??? Will there be a fix? Other than that it must be a camera fault ? Very frustrating

### 1/5 — Wifi rarely works 10 ft away

*2023-06-24, version 1.0.2*

I’m not a half-mile from this game camera. I’m not even 20 feet from this game camera. Still, it is very rare to be able to connect via Wi-Fi, and the Bluetooth never works at all. This app is basically pointless 85% of the time.

### 1/5 — Difficult to use

*2023-05-30, version 1.0.2*

Where do I begin? First, you can’t just pull the SD card & put it in a card reader to download files to either your tablet or phone. I get the message “no files to download”. What’s up with that? You are forced to go through the app or just view off the tiny camera screen. It is painfully slow and even then you have to download one photo at a time to your phone or tablet. I was hoping with this app that I could sit in my living room and check the camera but I have to go outside and grab the whole unit off the tree that I can see from my living room window to view what’s on the camera. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if I could easily transfer the whole lot at one time, but NO! It’s ONE pic at a time. UGH!

### 1/5 — Not worthy

*2023-05-23, version 1.0.2*

Absolute rubbish app, my security camera does more than this device , waste of time and money

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Reconnecting is cumbersome

*2026-03-19, version 1.0.2*

You have to go through the entire connection process every time you want to view the images. Terrible app!

### 1/5 — App Update for iOS????

*2025-07-05, version 1.0.2*

Why is this app not being updated to work with iOS 18.x?

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2024-07-28, version 1.0.2*

Many problems with this app. Can’t get off WiFi settings on the screen. Way too many other issues. Frustrating! It seems they just threw an app together and put it out there! No testing was done? I would only use this app if you want frustrating in your life!!! Great idea, terrible presentation!

### 1/5 — Camera good, app worthless.

*2024-01-14, version 1.0.2*

Is the app supposed to do something? Does not connect unless you are physically switching it to setup mode, in which case what is the point? If you have the camera open to do that you can just yank the SD card. Hoping to view pics without going out into the snow but I guess this is not the camera for me.

### 1/5 — No internet or Bluetooth connection

*2024-01-02, version 1.0.2*

I’m ok with tech. But this app is terrible. Evan next to camera it won’t link to my phone. Pix it takes are good, but have to remove card to view them. I travel a lot and wanted to watch/check remotely. THATS IMPOSSIBLE! Don’t recommend this camera to anyone.

### 1/5 — This app needs more fixes

*2023-12-26, version 1.0.2*

We can not connect to the phone to finish set up

### 1/5 — Poor App development

*2023-12-10, version 1.0.2*

The app is so bad I would not buy a second camera. I am looking to buy 2 more trail cameras but it will not be this brand.

### 1/5 — The camea is good the app is not

*2023-10-31*

Problems include...
1. Select All does not work on the download page. Only selects the 12 files in the window, making downloading tedious.
2. If you have 2 cameras the the file names are the same on each camera and cannot be customised - meaning the app will not let you download the files from the second camera. this makes the wireless feature useless.
3. Once you have downloaded the images to the "Local" area, you can only download them to you camera roll one at a time.
This product has potential but at the moment I would not recommend buying this camera for the wireless features as they are not usable.

### 1/5 — Crashes, needs a lot of work

*2023-10-24, version 1.0.2*

The camera itself is great, the app is not great. I put up with the wonky UI for months because, with some effort, I could actually download photos and videos from the camera. Now, however, I can only download photos; when I try to download a video, the app crashes instantly. There is ample space on both the SD card in the camera and on my phone, so those are not the problem. In addition, connecting to the camera has become increasingly difficult, despite the camera and I being in the exact same locations. The Bluetooth signal is often lost, the wifi won’t get turned on… Perhaps the camera needs to be dusted off, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt there. Another thing… when exporting local files, the video names default to the date and time (which is great), but the photo names default to “File_000”, so I have to manually rename each photo. Over all, major bug fixes and a UI overhaul (read some of the other reviews for details) are desperately needed. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Connectivity

*2023-10-24, version 1.0.2*

App was unable to set up Wi-Fi connection between iPhone 14 and my Campark TC06
The camera settings up (Wi-Fi) button gives a link to Wildlife Cam app. This app worked straight away and I have a great Wi-Fi connection.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — One more option needed

*2023-07-22, version 1.0.2*

Have been using this app for a couple of years without problem. Just recently I needed to use the time lapse function on my camera so had several photos transferred to the local folder. I can only save one at a time to my photo folder. Select all only gives the option to delete. Would appreciate an update to give the option to select all and save.

### 4/5 — Better than I expected

*2023-04-08, version 1.0.1*

Super stills picture quality!
Wifi works well for me, sitting indoors to control the camera and download pics and then delete originals.
Needs a better instruction manual to explain all the different settings and the effects of varying them.
Nevertheless I am pleased with it so far!

### 4/5 — When it works...

*2023-02-12, version 1.0.1*

It is great. But there are some significant bugs that really need fixed asap.
Downloading rarely works.
It occasionally refuses to connect, but there is a workaround! Using the camera menu turn off the Monitoring Period. And re-start the camera. Once it is connecting you can turn on Monitoring Period with the app and it will work again.

The camera itself is a solid A.

### 4/5 — Can’t complain - does what it says.

*2022-12-13, version 1.0.1*

I’m a complete crazy bird lady and love to photograph small birds in my garden.
I’ve gone through many cameras, trail cameras, bird nest cams and this is by far the best - especially for the price. Connection is not perfect but no device is. I love how long I can leave the camera in place and that you can download images and videos so easily compared to other similar devices. The fact you can site your camera whilst checking the angle via the app on your phone is a bonus. And to have a memory card already installed, ready to format and go - what’s to complain about? Well pleased with the results for my insta page. ♥️

### 4/5 — Functional but slow with room for improvements

*2022-10-08, version 1.0.1*

If you are familiar with the concept then this will be an easy setup for you. But even if you are not, you can follow the instructions, they are good enough if you have technical background, otherwise, i think it would be a little challenging. i am able to access the camera via WiFi from about 90 feet, it is fast when you are close to the camera but starts to slow down as you get further. It is slow at 90, but workable if you reduce your video resolution. I am recording videos at 1080p, which i think is reasonable. And i setup my still shots at 8mp resolution. I have a green belt behind my house, and i setup the camera right next to a water bucket and i am getting great videos and shots of wild life. I also set it up next to my birdbath, and that was a lot of fun seeing the birds up close. I am accessing the camera footage entirely thru WiFi.

It would be nice if it had alert function, sort of like a door cam, but you can put those driveway alert bells and you will get the alert at the house

It would also be nice if i can access the camera over the internet (again like a door cam)

But you have to consider that this camera is made to be a placed in remote areas where there is no wifi. For that consider getting a camera with built in GSM slot to access via the cellular network. Even with that, you still gonna run into non service areas

All in all, it is worth the money to me.

### 4/5 — I’m actually quite pleased with this app

*2022-05-29, version 1.0.1*

I have a game camera and I use it for security at the camp. I have used the app for a year now , and I have to say that I don’t have the same complaints as many others. I can connect to my camera easily, I can download many pictures at once and I get very good photo quality overall. Yes, it could be better, but for a basic, simple camera and associated app, it works well for me. PK

### 3/5 — It works, kinda

*2025-05-01, version 1.0.2*

The app works quite well to connect to the camera via Bluetooth and then WiFi. But then the UI is very buggy and may crash at any moment. It is a shame that these manufacturers always bundle decent hardware with half-baked software.

### 3/5 — It is very laggy

*2025-03-29, version 1.0.2*

Its alright. It’s hard to connect to your phone it’s quite annoying when you are trying to watch the camera but it pauses.

### 3/5 — So la la

*2025-01-31, version 1.0.2*

### 3/5 — It's ok

*2023-11-13, version 1.0.2*

It works good. The app is the biggest problem. You have to download a pic to enlarge it to see better. Also, you can't read date and time stamp without enlarging.
