We will pass your suggestion to our team. ### 1/5 — Lost Access to Previous Issues in Sub *2026-08-31* You need a subscription to read the issues you previously had access to. Other magazine apps give you access to issues released during the period of your sub even if you don’t renew, why can’t Game Informer do the same? The back issues from before the relaunch are also blank. UPDATE: Developer replied to review with a request to contact support. Why? It states on the website that you lose access to the archive for the relaunch issues if you don’t renew. I wasn’t aware of this when I bought a subscription. If I did, I wouldn’t have subscribed. I’m writing this just to let people who plan on getting a digital subscription know that they’re just renting the magazine. **Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for your feedback. We will be happy to help and address your concerns. ### 1/5 — Gamescom 2026 Germany *2026-08-30* Wir haben auf der Gamescom 2026 an einem Gewinnspiel teilgenommen und mussten dafür extra die App herunterladen. Leider entstand bei uns der Eindruck, dass die Gewinne nicht wirklich fair bzw. transparent vergeben wurden und offenbar Personen gewonnen haben, die den Veranstaltern bekannt waren. Für mich war das sehr enttäuschend. Die App habe ich direkt danach wieder gelöscht und würde auch anderen empfehlen, sich vorher gut zu überlegen, ob sie dafür extra eine App installieren möchten. Mehr Transparenz bei solchen Gewinnspielen wäre meiner Meinung nach dringend notwendig. **Developer response:** We're sorry to hear you left with the impression that the giveaway wasn't run fairly. We'd like to clarify how the draw actually worked: winners were picked using a physical raffle drum with paper entries, drawn live at the booth. There was no digital selection process behind it, which means it wasn't possible to preselect or influence who would win. Every entry had an equal, physical chance of being drawn. We're sorry you didn't come away as a winner this time. I have to open the article on my internet browser to read the whole thing. Not sure if this is intentional? It’s pretty inconvenient.
