### 1/5 — Wont even load a login page, in its mini browser, update the URL, team

*2024-11-13, version 3.6.7*

This is dumb, the app wont even let you log in, stays spinning on the my acct page

### 1/5 — Poorly disguised Native Advertising

*2024-10-21*

Uninstalled as soon as I read the Concord “article” praising it & calling it a good game. When GameStop’s game magazine spends more time hyping up AAAA slop that is so universally hated that it goes offline in 2 weeks, you know that this magazine isn’t here to talk about good games. It’s clearly just poorly disguised Native Advertising that GameStop wants to hype up to drive preorders. Sadly I only found a few pages talking about actual good indies as most of the page space is dedicated to advertising AAA/AAAA titles from major publishers.
In addition, the last article from September 2024’s issue was an interview with Eli Roth for the awful Borderlands movie. In that article, he admits he hadn’t played video games since the 70s, got the big actors to perform in it because they owed him favors & hyped up the props more than the actual script (since he probably knew it was just a Guardians of the Galaxy ripoff). It’s clear that this “magazine” has more in common with GameStop’s catalog rather than actual journalism. Don’t bother reading it!

### 5/5 — RIP

*2024-08-07*

I’m sad to see you guys go. I had fond memories of reading Game Informer as a child and getting hyped for whatever was coming next from your magazine. Just know that I’ve always been a fan and I’ll never forget you

### 1/5 — PDF version

*2024-07-22, version 3.6.7*

Why can’t I just view a pdf view of themmagazine on the iPad?! I don’t want stupid mobile webpage view.

### 4/5 — Current trends in the gaming world

*2024-07-16, version 3.6.7*

I was especially pleased with the feature that allows users to view video game reviews directly within the application. This makes it easier to get a more comprehensive understanding of a game's features and helps users make an informed decision before purchasing it.

### 1/5 — Horrid

*2024-06-19, version 3.6.7*

Wouldn’t recommend could not use and I was trying to get it running for over an hour just going to wait for the physical copy ( if they even come…)

### 1/5 — Absolutely impossible to use

*2024-05-29, version 3.6.7*

I signed up for a subscription to the magazine a YEAR ago and have never succesfully been able to link my sunscription account to my gameinformer.com account to access this stupid app. The “gameinformer.com/activate” link takes me to a page that just asks me to buy another subscription, and when you call the number or send an email, they just tell you to try that link again, over and over. What a miserable experience.

### 1/5 — Horrible interface!

*2024-04-21, version 3.6.6*

How is this app this bad?! Did they just have some low level manager diy the app? I’m not technical at all and I think I could probably come up with a better interface and better functioning app after a few hrs on YouTube. There is no menu to speak of and no way to exit an issue once your in it. On top of that, the subscription pricing and model is terrible. Why would you have to pay for older issues? It’s not like there’s any value to them. If you sign up for Marvel, DC etc., you have access to tons of archived content and those actually add value. An old virtual issue of Game Informer is essentially worthless, other than for nostalgia’s sake or checking out some old gaming art. Why would it not just be included with the subscription? Even if you own a physical copy of that issue, there’s no way to import it. Terrible app overall!

### 1/5 — Turn A Page

*2024-04-13, version 3.6.5*

How the heck do you turn the page on this usless app?

### 1/5 — Bruh

*2024-04-09, version 3.6.5*

Tells me it’s unable to find a subscription linked to my account and redirects me to their website where I’ve already created an account. On the website I’m able to read the newest mag through the browser but if I try to see a archived mag it tells me to subscribe
