### 4/5 — Surprisingly good

*2018-01-05*

It actually has all the tools I needed to be quick when I was DMing it really enjoyed it and was very surprised when I found out that the app was not just outdated but actually was semi frequently updated my one request form it is if you could a tab for PC to not just NPC but other then they i found this to be almost everything I needed to be a DM other then the books themselves.

### 4/5 — Was great hopefully will be again soon

*2017-10-28*

This app was a fantastic staple to my campaigns, and with the new update i was very excited about all the changes, except for one... you can no longer download character sheets provided from their companion app, fight club 3. Hoping to see that change back soon

### 5/5 — Very good

*2016-05-10, version 1.3.6*

Easy to use, space efficient.

### 5/5 — So useful!

*2016-04-22, version 1.3.6*

A must have for beginning DM

### 5/5 — Surprisingly useful!

*2016-03-10*

This is actually a really cool and useful app for keeping track of encounters. I set up a handful of encounters for an upcoming gaming session, entered the stats from the char sheets, and when it came time for the actual gaming night, the combats went more smoothly than they ever have before. It works very well for keeping track of initiative order, and you can reorder when a readied action fires. Hit point tracking works quite well, and you even get a "health bar" for the creatures.

There are also places to keep notes, for example during a combat, or even for the overall campaign. Very well thought out. It's clear that the author actually games as well, and designed it from the perspective of a DM.

If I have one criticism it is that the rules cheat sheet (the icon that looks like a DM screen) loads _super_-slow, and the app is completely unresponsive whilst it loads, to the point where the first time I thought the app had hung. I would think that would be easy to address, or I would hope it would.

### 5/5 — Completely Changed Game Night!

*2016-02-20*

This app, along with the same developer's Fight Club app have both completely changed game night for the better. What used to pause game to look things up, or to calculate effects, or to simply note things now runs seamlessly. We have found game to run more smoothly, and with more fun. And after-all, isn't that the point?

### 5/5 — One of the few RPGs apps that works and works well

*2015-10-25*

It doesn't try and do everything, but it does a surprising amount of things. 3.5 battles are so much smoother, and I can fill in spare time adding thoughtfully provided details, like pics for characters. Love it. Please make a decent map-maker!

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2015-10-18, version 1.3.5*

This app is so useful, puts much vital info within easy reach

### 5/5 — Kind of incredible

*2015-10-14, version 1.3.5*

This app makes DMing a breeze. I kind of love it. Has a few small bugs, but otherwise great.

### 5/5 — Can I buy more monsters please.

*2015-08-29, version 1.3.3*

Great app. If you could add an option that would let me buy additional monster manuals I would be a very happy DM.

### 4/5 — Great Organization Tool

*2015-08-23, version 1.3.3*

This app is all I use to prepare game sessions for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 now. Lots better than keeping loose papers and flipping through rulebooks constantly. Buy the full version if you have the spare change.

### 5/5 — :)

*2015-08-20, version 1.3.3*

An excellent resource app for every DM!

### 1/5 — I'd like to use the full app, but I cannot upgrade...

*2016-01-27, version 1.3.6*

I want to use this app to it's full potential, but every time I try to upgrade to the full version, I get the following error message: "This item is currently being modified. Please try again later." I've tried to purchase the upgrade multiple times over the past 48 hours and I still get the same message...

### 1/5 — FIX IT!!!

*2015-12-17*

I would have rated it 5 stars because I have been using this app for months with little to no problem. But just today the app crashed on me and I lost all my custom data plus 80% of the preset data in the app, losing weeks of work I spent on it! After downloading it again, I tried to start over from scratch only for the same thing to happen within 5 minutes.

### 1/5 — Crashed and lost all data

*2014-12-05*

I had been happily using this app for about 5 months when it decided to crash. When I reopened it EVERY THING was deleted, even the content that comes with the app. When I went to restore cloud data, it crashed. When I went to restore local data, it crashed. When I went to restore default data, none was found.

I lost MONTHS of DM work: story, dozens of monsters, character progression, everything gone.

When I reached out to the developers via Facebook I got no response.

I was at least able to recover my purchased version, so that's a plus.

Help would be appreciated. Review subject to change based on developer response

### 2/5 — so how to select languages？？

*2017-03-29, version 1.3.6*

so how to select languages？？？

### 3/5 — Meh.

*2018-11-06, version 2.1.2*

It is basically a spreadsheet where you have to manually enter in your character sheets and monster stats. The built in spell reference is nice as is the searchable rules. However, not of the calculations are done for you. For example, if you have a character or monster with a masterwork short sword you would have to simple make a typed note in the attack section. Useful and fairly priced. Tbh I would rather pay more for an app that supports all the D20 calculations, has selectable spells in stead of having to type the names and descriptions... etc etc

### 3/5 — Not bad, buy the extra features

*2017-08-18*

In general, the app offers bare basics for quick reference. Scry Free was only slightly better, because it's free version also came with class tables. $2.99 isn't bad for what you would get, but the lack of info on iconic monsters, like the beholder, keep the price from seeming completely fair.

### 3/5 — Okay I guess

*2014-07-24, version 1.1.0*

Great concepts, needs a tutorial mode though I think. Needs to be able to import character sheets from fight club app, encounter section confusing, seems like more work than its worth in the end, but I'll keep toying with it

### 4/5 — Only because...

*2019-12-12*

I do love this app but I am hoping that you will update the bedtiary to include other creatures.

### 4/5 — Almost Perfect

*2018-08-08, version 2.1.2*

This is possibly my favourite app of all time. If possible, a few things added would give it the boost it needs to be the best app hands down, for all time. Don’t worry curious reader, I won’t leave you high and dry, I will moisten your thirst for knowledge. First lets go with some misses, I’d like a version that allows me access to all 3.5 books, or lets me buy digital copies of them to fill my monster manual up. More classes and yadda yadda yadda. Next, a graph addition, where I can map out my own dungeons, I mean come on, how good would it be if I had the encounter written out, but also had a graph I could pull up so I could do the dimensions on my graph paper spot on? Probably some more things, but my wife is eyeing me up something fierce and I will have to leave you at this. Be good and safe children.

### 4/5 — Excellent for combat

*2018-01-15*

The best app ever for smoothly getting combat done, streamlines the whole process. Combine with fight club and you have your PCs as well. Quick reference for those "what does panicked mean?" situations. Two suggestions would be to have the ability to randomly roll the hp for multiple monsters of the same type, and to be able to update your purchase on different/newer devices - the update thing is the only reason this is not 5 stars

### 5/5 — Dungeon Masters Sidekick Extraordinaire!

*2023-08-29*

This App is So helpful for organizing my thoughts & ideas with placeholders for stories & encounters allowing me to quickly add & fine tune my adventures. I can even add & create more creatures to the already great bestiary & All at a moment’s notice right in my pocket.
I Love It! Worth Every Penny.

### 5/5 — 10/10 would pay more

*2021-03-12*

This is a fantastic app that has made keeping track of encounters, treasure and xp so very easy! It gives more time to enjoy the story and actually role play instead of dragging encounters out. You can even roll initiative, attacks, skill rolls... all on the monsters’ sheets.

I would make 3 suggestions: A prompt to save when going back to prevent lost story, a skull or indicator on the encountered creatures list column on the left (There is one on the individual creatures sheet, but not all fit on screen at once) and a way to donate to further development and fine tune this app.

Enough criticism from me. I thoroughly enjoy Game Master 3.5. It’s the absolute best I’ve tried, and I’ve tried many apps.

### 5/5 — The Best

*2020-11-13*

Keep it coming guys and gals. This makes things run so smooth for me. Keep it updated. Thanks all around. Please UPDATE! Love this app. Always worried at each update that the app may not function.

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2019-10-09*

No more hauling around multiple notebooks and searching for monster stat blocks and loot. It’s all here in one place on the app!

### 5/5 — Great resource for 3.5 GMs

*2019-07-07, version 2.1.2*

I have been using the resource more frequently and enjoy it very much.
I just wish it was available for Android OS also.

### 5/5 — This app is perfect for DMs

*2018-07-07*

This app has been very helpful as a first time DM. It allows me to have all my notes in one place and I can access them from anywhere.

### 5/5 — Just absolutely fantastic!

*2018-06-15*

I use this app for managing pretty much everything on my campaign.

From combat, to encounters to overarching of the story to keeping track of treasure, XP, and having reference photos to show my players.

Seriously, this is a fantastic app.

### 5/5 — Wonderful D&D Tool

*2017-03-21, version 1.3.6*

I'm a beginner DM and this App has been a life saver.

Wish I had known about it when I was just a player cause there's So much useful info in this thing!

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2016-08-14*

This app is amazing for keeping track of campaigns, keeping tabs of encounters and battles and even has an encyclopedia with the numerous spells of every class and info on such. Very Helpful!

### 5/5 — A must for my campaign!!

*2016-06-28*

My only complaint is that I've become so reliant on this app that I don't know if I could go back to the days of pen & paper. Everything I wanted and more.

Ok, one more complaint. The Beastiary has seemed to have diminished dramatically. A lot less monsters than before. Just noticed this issue today.
