It kept kicking people out of the game and locking up especially the word game and only allowed 6 people to play. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2016-05-27, version 1.1* Very plain. Just some questions and that's it, not even some basic backgrounds. After a few rounds it kept marking my correct answers incorrect. Very slow as well, game should move probably twice as fast (or at least be configurable). Nice idea, I'd wait for a more talented development team to do a similar project though. ### 2/5 — Wouldn't recommend yet *2016-01-01, version 1.1* I believe that this app has the potential to be a great game IF it would stop constantly crashing. If my device hasn't frozen then my competitors does. To make it an amazing recommendable game it could just do with a couple of fixes for what only comes across as minor teething problems with big consequences, plus due to the more higher app price it's not on the cheep side when it comes to quiz apps. Disappointed! ### 1/5 — Does not sync *2015-12-20, version 1.1* If I could give zero stars I would. This did not sync with iPad or iPhone 6s. Multiple attempts rebooting all devices. No support for how to address syncing errors. Fix it and I will write a new review. Until you see that it works, stay away from purchasing this app. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2015-11-08* A nice concept. But clearly early days still. Players will sometimes get stuck on previous questions and get skipped over. Sometimes for the rest of the round. Questions will get skipped and rounds end early. Scores get out of sync between the tv and the phone. Basically unusable until these bugs are ironed out. ### 2/5 — 1.0 version not ready. *2015-11-07* Cool idea but there are a lot of bugs. Granted Apple TV OS is still brand new and the problem may be in the device not the actual game so I expect there will be an update soon. Hope it does soon because we haven't gotten through 2 questions before the game bugs out either on screen or on our devices. Some questions repeated 3 times within 10 questions in a category. ### 1/5 — Broken allows choosing after time *2020-05-30, version 3.0.1* This version allows answers to be changed AFTER the correct answer is displayed. The concept is good but there seems to be a lot of bugs. Game glitches at random spots on different different devices. We had four players connected and after the fifth attempt we finally were able to get all devices to show the game display. We answered about 5 questions and the app froze on one of the devices again! After multiple restarts we just shut if off. Great concept just very glitchy and buggy. Hope it gets fixed. ### 1/5 — Pretty bad app *2016-02-24, version 1.1* Very poor experience, and buggy. For a game which is supposed to be a "party" game, there is really no interactivity. Everyone just looks at their phone. No music, no announcers, nothing. There are supposed to be 1700 questions available.....😐 ### 1/5 — One of the worst apps of our generation. *2015-12-26, version 1.1* As said in the only other review on one of the worst apps on the App Store, syncing from iPhones and iPads to the Apple TV is beyond poor. As long as you're connected to the same wifi network as the Apple TV, it only takes a few seconds and you're connected. Not sure why these other reviewers were having trouble. ### 4/5 — We love Word Hunt *2024-04-25, version 3.0.2* We spend ages playing the Word Hunt game and really enjoy it. It’s a shame that fairly frequently, the game will stop responding after a round which causes us to close the game on the TV and on our phones and having to restart. It happens more often if there are more than two players. However, I’m not aware of anything else like it on the App Store so we’ll stick with it. ### 4/5 — Excellent party game for Apple TV *2016-01-10, version 1.1* This is an excellent game but it can benefit from additional question packs. On suggestion would be to allow users to create their own question packs specific to topic of interest or region of interest. ### 3/5 — Love it but does often crash *2021-01-10, version 3.0.2* Such a great game - we love it - although it’s needs more game options (2 is not enough) - the one complaint is that with the quiz it will just stop working , no new questions will pop up . Game started giving the answers before you can answer them, or logging players off. Considering the game cost £2.99 I was surprised how buggy it was.
