Especially for guild vs other than that you don’t need to buy to keep up just have to grind. Been playing off and on for years, love it still to this day. You can run skills that steal, board control, or shield as the basics. You want to focus learning one skill play style at a time when you start out, then have fun mixing mechanics. Easy to get lots of freebies and quest done. Newbies save your EXP booster guys for your starter quests. Everything is expensive with most of the items not being worth it. There are no character boost summons like years ago so I can’t upgrade my Devil Rose. It’s just gamble an ungodly amount of money for the newest character all over again. Please add the character summon boost back. It included the upgrades you needed in order to upgrade your character. The maps are stale as well. Years ago, the maps were super creative and had different gameplay elements. You can’t even play those maps anymore unless you’re on lab mode. The maps nowadays are the same shape with the same type of gameplay that it gets boring. Please make this FTP friendly! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Pay to win *2026-07-13, version 10.3* I started playing this game years ago when all that I had on the loading screen was one manga now it’s beautiful and has an animations and a lot of maps and different game modes and stuff. It’s pretty cool how it has grown, but it’s literally unplayable unless you put money into it, and I am not one of those people that paid to win. I downloaded it recently to get back into it. I’ve literally lost every match but two.. all the opponents have all this new skill cards that I’ve never seen before and if you don’t put money into it to buy new skill cars getting them for free is impossible. So as much as I like the game, I’m gonna have to uninstall it again. ### 1/5 — Rubbish Game *2026-04-01, version 10.1* It is really ridiculous that I did nothing and then bankrupt. You will not win against real players who paid to win (4+ Collector's Items). To add to the frustration, while bots have predictable loadouts, on an unlucky day, you may still lose a lot of Joy. With no lobbies for Free Players, chances are you'll throw your phone through the window. Whenever you close the app LITERALLY for 1 second. It goes disconnected and unable to resume the game & you lose to opponent. Usually with playing a game for that long, games will be balanced and skill will determine your wins. Unfortunately, this game is completely pay to win. Usually mobile games have a pay option to help nudge you through the game, but with game of dice it’s required if you want to actually get into higher leagues than platinum. Because Game of Dice isn’t it. It’s the digital equivalent of walking into a casino where the whales already own the tables, the dice are rigged, and you’re just there to donate your lunch money. Let’s start with the obvious: this game is pure pay-to-win rot. Every match feels like a sacrifice ritual where new players are the offering. The moment you spawn in, you’re pitted against players who drop skill cards and dice that cost more than your phone bill. You don’t “learn” — you just lose, repeatedly, until you either uninstall or surrender your soul (and wallet). And the turns? Don’t even get me started. The “balance” is so broken that sometimes your opponent will get three or four rolls before you even touch the dice. By the time it’s your turn, every property you had is gone, gobbled up in a single absurd chain of luck and overpriced cards. The result: a game that looks cute on the surface but plays like a nightmare designed by a greedy algorithm. It’s monopoly but with more complicated dynamics to win such as items, cards, and dice! Also there are many style options for characters and all the above. My only critique would be better ways to earn potion bottles for dice otherwise give it a try because I have a blast!
