### 4/5 — Good App but…

*2026-07-20*

I really like the app. The only thing I'm missing is a function to scan the barcodes to add games.

### 4/5 — The Closest to a 3DS Activity Log

*2026-06-11*

If you’re looking for an easy to setup, fully customizable app for tracking time spent on games, a clean way to organize your collection, and respects your privacy this app is a must.

### 4/5 — Muito bom

*2026-01-22*

### 4/5 — It is ok

*2025-08-03*

It is actually a good app but I wish I could scan things instead of having search them up cause I have a lot of games over 500 it be so much easier if I could just scan them

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and for using the app. I completely understand how convenient it would be to add games by scanning, especially with such a large collection. I would really like to add this feature, but at the moment there are some technical limitations that make it impossible. I will continue to look for solutions to hopefully implement it in the future.

### 5/5 — The Best Game Log on the App Store

*2025-06-18*

I switched to Game Tracker after having used GameTrack for around a year. Not only does this app look better by far and is generally more functional, but it also has much better features allowing me to track which games I own by storefront, not just by platform. I also like to track time played, and Game Tracker is so much better than GameTrack or Gamery, the latter of which lacks time tracking entirely.

There’s still some features and functions I hope are added in the future, but new features are only possible through supporting the developer, so I really encourage you to try adding a couple games to make sure the app is what you need, and if it is, upgrade to Pro to support the developer.

### 4/5 — Best but Could Be Better

*2025-06-18*

Recently switched to this from GameTrack because of several issues I had with that service. This app is much better in a number of ways including the Spaces feature, the time logging and timer functions, and other category and organization options.

Other than a few minor bugs (as well as the lack of a simple bug reporting tool), the search function has been the biggest issue. The ability to filter by platform is nice and actually works unlike in GameTrack, but it has several key flaws. First, the search only returns the first 20 results. Second, the app claims you can search by title or publisher, but you absolutely cannot search by publisher at this time. Lastly, you cannot sort results at all nor apply any filter besides platform. The best example of this is trying to add The Finals (2023, Embark Studios); the results show only twenty Final Fantasy games.

Hopefully the search function is expanded and refined because everything else about this app is almost perfect. Game library integrations would be nice like Gamery, but Gamery doesn’t have time tracking, especially per playthrough (something GameTrack lacks as well). Overall, I hope this app’s development continues for a long time.

### 5/5 — Top !

*2025-06-14*

### 5/5 — The Best Video Game Tracker on the App Store

*2025-06-06*

This app has just about everything you need to catalog your video game collection and progress. Also, since the app gets its game data from IGDB, you can also track modded roms and other games that you don’t normally see, which is awesome! An example would be modded roms like Pokémon Unbound.

My only gripes is that I can’t see the total play time for a specific game and I can’t track multiple purchases for one game. Other than that, the app is perfect for my use case!

### 5/5 — Great tracking app

*2025-05-07*

Been looking for one like this for a while. I appreciate that data isn’t collected and I can support the devs with a full version unlock that doesn’t break the bank. Easy export options for PDF and CSV means I can easily access the data I input to the app. iCloud support syncs the app across my apple devices. I love that I can set game start and game completion date. There are a few things that could be improved, but the devs seem responsive and interested in feedback. I love using this app and I’m very excited to keep using it.

### 4/5 — Peut-être une nouvelle icône?!?

*2025-04-27*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — 😡🤮HOT GARBAGE

*2026-06-28*

YOU ONLY LET ME PUT 5 GAMES!

### 1/5 — scam

*2025-11-24*

you’ve gotta pay $60 |:

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback.
I just wanted to clarify that this is not a scam. The app clearly explains on the App Store page and at first launch that the Pro upgrade is a paid, optional purchase.

As an indie developer I prefer not to use ads or collect any user data, so the one time or subscription payment helps support the development and the continued maintenance of the app. The free version lets you try the core features before deciding whether the upgrade is worth it for you.

If you have any questions or need help understanding how the app works, I’m here to help.

### 1/5 — ma tutto apposto?

*2025-11-18, version 1.2.2*

😭 bruh what the-

### 1/5 — Note non cohérente.

*2025-11-13*

### 2/5 — Might not be so bad if you didn’t have to pay for it

*2025-10-22*

Its an interesting idea, but you can only save five games on it until it prompts you to buy the full version.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. I understand the frustration, and I’d like to explain the philosophy behind this choice.

I build my apps as privacy friendly tools that store everything directly on your device, without tracking, ads or external services. To keep things sustainable, the free version includes the basics so you can try the app, while the full version unlocks unlimited games and supports the long term development of the project.

I know limits are never fun, but they help me keep the app independent and focused on quality rather than data collection or ads.

### 3/5 — Bien mais nécessite des améliorations

*2026-07-19*

### 3/5 — Not free like alternatives

*2026-07-15*

You can only track 4-5 games at a time until it starts asking for a subscription. Kinda of a let down since the ui was minimalistic in a good way.

### 3/5 — Pretty good

*2026-02-24*

Just not enough available in the free tier but pretty good overall.

### 3/5 — Almost Perfect

*2026-01-02*

Is there any way you guys could make it to where we can add consoles manually? Being able to add games manually makes your app a game-changer from the competition but I have so many pre-loaded famiclones, flashback consoles, myarcade etc that I don’t see a good way to add them to my library. For example I want to add my games from my NES Classic but keep them separate from my physical NES games so I know what to look for when I’m at a used game store.

### 3/5 — Hate the free version and pricing

*2025-09-18*

The app is really good, the design and everything about it. But the free version only has 5 game ??? like it's a free game library app that i can only add 5 games to ?

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback.

I understand that the 5 game limit in the free version may feel restrictive. I chose this model because Game Tracker is completely private, has no ads, no data tracking and no external analytics. Everything is stored only on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, and this makes the app more expensive to maintain compared to services that collect user data.

The free version is meant to let everyone try the app with all its features, while the Pro version helps support the continuous development of Game Tracker and the future updates I’m already working on.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. If you have any suggestions or ideas, I’m always happy to hear them.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome app for game tracking

*2026-06-10*

App works great…was just wondering if it’d be possible to add a barcode scanner for physical games.

Thank you!

### 5/5 — Excelente app

*2026-01-10, version 1.2.5*

Totalmente recomendado.

### 5/5 — Excellent app!

*2025-12-21, version 1.2.4*

I really love your app and use it everyday to track my games and my playtime. The only thing I would like to change is to be able to display playtime in hours instead of days. I hope this gets added in a future version of the app. Continue your good work!

### 5/5 — Quello che cercavo da tempo

*2025-11-29, version 1.2.2*

### 5/5 — Love this app, but..

*2025-11-22*

Totally giving this app a 5 star because I personally think this is the best app for your money for game tracking and organization, but I do have a question for the devs:

What’s the difference between spaces and positions? Are positions more for physical libraries?

**Developer response:** Thanks a lot for the 5 stars! About your question: positions are meant to track the physical location of your games, for example the shelf, drawer or box where you keep them.
Spaces, instead, are a way to organize your collection however you prefer, like backlog, wishlist, genres, systems or any custom grouping.

They serve two different purposes, so you can use both depending on how you like to organize your library.

### 5/5 — Édit de l’avis

*2025-10-29*

### 5/5 — The Best Game Log on the App Store

*2025-09-27*

I switched to Game Tracker after having used GameTrack for around a year. Not only does this app look better by far and is generally more functional, but it also has much better features allowing me to track which games I own by storefront, not just by platform. I also like to track time played, and Game Tracker is so much better than GameTrack or Gamery, the latter of which lacks time tracking entirely.

There’s still some features and functions I hope are added in the future, but new features are only possible through supporting the developer, so I really encourage you to try adding a couple games to make sure the app is what you need, and if it is, upgrade to Pro to support the developer.
