## What is GameDay DJ?

GameDay DJ turns your iPhone into a stadium PA system for youth sports. Scan your lineup card, pick walk-up music for each player, lock it in, then tap to fire announcer intros + walk-up songs through your Bluetooth speaker. No wifi needed at the field once you're locked in.

BUILT FOR TEAMS, NOT JUST ONE COACH
Invite parents to follow the lineup live. They tap a link, install the app, and see who's up to bat in real time. Parents can claim their kid and pick the walk-up song themselves, so every batter gets the song they want with zero extra work for the coach. Invite assistant coaches too. They edit the roster from their own phone, no swapping devices on the bench. Every phone on the team stays in sync, automatically.

GET YOUR FIRST LINEUP READY IN THREE STEPS
1. Scan your lineup card with the camera (or add players manually). The AI pulls out names, jersey numbers, and batting order in seconds.
2. Tap a Quick Vibe to drop walk-up songs on every player at once, or pick songs one by one from Apple's catalog. Then Lock In to generate AI announcer intros and cache every song for offline playback.
3. Hit the field. Tap a player's row when they step up. The announcer calls their name and their song plays through your Bluetooth speaker.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
• Broadcast-quality AI announcer voices: Rex Thunder, Titan, Atlas, Ed, and more. Write your own intro script with name and number placeholders, or record the intro in your own voice.
• Lock In = instant tap-to-audio, fully offline. The crowd reacts to the music, not to you waiting on it.
• Photograph your whole season schedule and every game lands on your team's calendar.
• Import games from your Apple Calendar. Pick the calendar, GameDay DJ pulls matchups.
• Per-game lineups for tournament weekends. Bench Liam at 9am, re-activate him at noon without touching the master roster.
• Stadium SFX soundboard with air horn, vuvuzela, "Going... going... GONE!" and 40+ sounds ready to fire, plus AI-generated custom effects.
• Between-innings music mix, curated by vibe (rock, country, hip-hop, kids/family, and more).
• Custom pronunciation lookup for Siobhán, Nguyen, anything tricky. A three-tier resolver gets the announcer to say it right.
• Safe Mode filters explicit lyrics so picks stay youth-sports appropriate.
• Your teams, rosters, songs, and recorded intros follow your free Coach Account, so switching phones is painless.

SPORTS SUPPORTED
Baseball, softball, T-ball, kickball, with more to come.

### 5/5 — Top Notch App

*2026-06-27*

This app is amazing. I can manage multiple teams with ease. Invite parents to manage their own player, set restrictions for explicit songs. My TEAMS love it!

### 5/5 — Best walk up app

*2026-06-27*

Used this for my kids baseball team and it works perfectly!

### 1/5 — This app violates Apples Terms of Service and Copyright licensing requirements.

*2026-06-25*

This app appears to rely on 30-second iTunes/Apple Music preview clips for walk-up songs and between-innings music, while advertising that no Apple Music subscription is required. That raises serious concerns about whether the app complies with Apple’s media preview/API rules, Apple Media Services terms, and copyright/public-performance licensing requirements. Parents, coaches, leagues, and Apple should take a closer look before using this for public youth sporting events.

### 5/5 — Very fun and easy to use

*2026-06-21*

The girls loved having the walk up music. The option to have multiple songs for a kid was fun. This app brought so much joy and was really easy to use.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! Hearing that the girls loved their walk-up music, and that it brought your team that much joy, is exactly why we built GameDay DJ. Multiple songs per kid was one of our favorite things to add, so it means a lot that your 8U crew is putting it to use. Hope you had a great season! 🥎

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.0 — 2026-09-14

• Run the Game From Your Wrist: Phone in your pocket, speaker at the fence, a kid in your other hand. Open GameDay DJ on your Apple Watch: who is up, who is next, one big Play. The SFX board and the Music Mix are on the wrist too, and the batter at the plate sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. The phone keeps playing the audio; the watch just asks.

• Walk Up Like the Pros: A new Pros tab in the song picker: what big-league hitters walk up to right now, clean versions only, with the player and team next to each song. Refreshed every night and kept on your phone for the field.

• Your Announcer Speaks Spanish: Pick a Spanish voice and the whole call comes out in Spanish, not an English script read with an accent. "Ahora al bate, numero 7, el jardinero, Mateo RIVERA." Names, numbers and positions all land the way a Spanish-speaking booth would say them.

• Coaches Get a Walk-Up Too: Put your coaches and staff on the roster and they get an intro of their own without ever taking a spot in the batting order. "Your head coach... Jordan... TAYLOR!" They sit in their own section on the roster and on Game Day, ready whenever you want them.

• Let the Bleachers Follow Along: Send a Just Watching link to grandparents, siblings, anyone who wants the lineup on their own phone. They hear every walk-up on game day, and the roster stays exactly as you left it. Send as many as you like, free.

• Walk-Ups That Start at the Good Part: A new walk-up clip now starts where other coaches started theirs, right on the piece of the song the bleachers know. On a song nobody has picked yet we find the biggest lift in the track and start there instead.

### 2.1.2 — 2026-09-09

• Your Lineup Order Travels: Reorder the batting lineup and it now lands on your co-coach's phone and stays there. Before this, two coaches editing the same team could quietly undo each other's order, and refreshing made it worse instead of better.

• Fix a Name, Hear It Fixed: Change a player's spelling or pronunciation and the announcer re-records that name on its own, then syncs to everyone on the team. Nobody has to remember to regenerate anything.

### 2.1.1 — 2026-09-06

• Your Team Follows You: Creating a team now starts with a free sign-in, so your roster, songs, and intros belong to your account and show up on any phone you sign in on. Signing out backs up your latest edits first and clears this phone, so a shared device never shows another coach's players.

• The SFX Board Stays Put: Dragging a sound tile now lands exactly where you drop it, and the artwork stops flashing after Done. A fresh board leads with the National Anthem, the first cue of any game day.

• Leave a Review: Account has a Leave a Review row, and saying yes when we ask now opens the App Store review box directly instead of waiting on a prompt that may never appear.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-09-04

• Three New Announcer Voices: Atlas brings deep, commanding weight and Ed brings over-the-top hype to the Pro booth, and Guy joins Adam as a free voice with upbeat radio energy. The voices nobody picked have stepped aside, so every voice in the picker earns its place.

• Scan the Board, Team Name and All: Point the camera at your dugout board or lineup card and the players do the matching. A team or league name printed across the top stays out of the way, camera photos read right side up, and the scan screen shows our AI working its way down the card.

• Walk-Ups You Can See: Tap a batter and their row lights up and sweeps cyan to purple for the whole at-bat, in the list and on the tiles. A kid who taps their own name can see the song start, not just hear it.

• 10-Second Walk-Ups: New walk-up clips start at 10 seconds, the length that landed best in real games, with 8 and 12 one tap away in the snippet editor.

### 2.0.5 — 2026-08-31

• Pro Starts With Your Account: Buying Pro now begins with a quick sign-in, so everything you pay for is saved to your account from the very first tap.
