## What is GameDay Music?

GameDay Music is the audio app for coaches who want to bring the energy on game day and keep practices moving — walk-up songs, AI voice introductions, sound effects, break music, fan requests and ceremonies, across 11 sports.

WALK-UP SONGS
Assign a song to every player and set a start point so the best part plays first. One tap during the game — no fumbling with playlists. Works with Apple Music or your local audio.

AI VOICE INTRODUCTIONS
Announce your players like the pros, with premium AI voices from ElevenLabs or free on-device Apple voices. Customize the lead-in per sport — "Now batting," "On the ice" — and fix the pronunciation of any name.

ONE-TAP GAME DAY
Load any song onto any action button and set exactly where it starts. Buttons sit on the main screen showing what is loaded — one tap fires the song, the effect and the announcement together.

EVENT MODE — THE CROWD PICKS THE MUSIC
Turn a team party, tournament or fundraiser into a room where everyone chooses the music. Share a QR code and anyone can add a song from their own phone — no app download. The crowd upvotes, so the songs the most people want rise to the top of your queue, and a live chat runs alongside it that you can moderate. You stay in control: nothing plays until you play it. Pick a backdrop to match the night — beach, backyard BBQ, bonfire, pool party, dance or wedding — and when it ends, every song the crowd requested is kept, ready to save into a team playlist. (Coach Pro)

GAME OPENER
Park a song to open the game and fire it with one tap. Layer staff and roster introductions over the top for a full pre-game show, or leave them off and let the song carry it.

SPORT-SPECIFIC GAME MODES
Baseball and Softball — batting order, pitcher warm-up, 7th inning stretch
Football — offense/defense boards, touchdown and big-play buttons
Basketball — action buttons, timeout music, three-pointer effects
Hockey — goal horns, penalty calls, intermission playlists
Soccer and Field Hockey — goal celebrations, set-piece sounds, halftime music
Lacrosse — goal sounds, man-up calls, face-off effects
Volleyball — point celebrations, timeout music, serve effects
Wrestling — entrance music, match sounds, ceremony audio
Cheerleading — routine music, entrance songs, team ceremonies

PRACTICE MODE
Run timed drills with music, effects and a buzzer between sets, with curated playlists built in. Good for warm-ups and conditioning.

QUICK FX
50+ built-in sounds — airhorns, crowd cheers, organ charges and sport-specific calls. Record your own or import files, and fire any one with a tap.

BREAK MUSIC & PLAYLISTS
Build playlists for timeouts, halftime and between innings, then browse by category during the game — Pre-Game, Break, Post-Game and Fan Picks. Anything already played is marked, so you never repeat a track.

FAN & PLAYER SONG REQUESTS
Fans and players submit requests from their phones, no app download. Requests land in your queue, and nothing reaches the speakers until you play it.

TEAM SHARING
Send another coach a link — one tap imports the roster, voice intros and settings.

TEAM MANAGEMENT
Rosters with jersey numbers and nicknames, team colors and logos, cloud backup and restore, and multiple teams across sports.

BUILT FOR GAME DAY
Lock screen play, pause, skip and fade. Audio route indicator for speaker, headphones or Bluetooth. Works in silent mode. Screen lock prevents accidental taps mid-play.

COACHING STAFF & CEREMONIES
Entrance music for coaches and staff, plus anthems, award presentations and pre-game shows on a single tap.

An Apple Music subscription is required for full song catalog access and complete app functionality. Local audio files can be used for walk-up songs without a subscription. Premium AI voices are powered by ElevenLabs (free credits included; additional credits available via in-app purchase).

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.24 — 2026-08-25

Announcements sound better and are easier to control.

• Generated player announcements read naturally — no more odd pauses or filler sounds
• Music ducking is now a simple switch: Lower Music While Announcing
• Game Opener music now dips correctly during each introduction, including Apple Music songs
• Clearer voice settings — "Announce Scoring Call" replaces confusing skip toggles

### 1.0.23 — 2026-08-21

Event Mode is rebuilt around the crowd, and the Game Opener is now a song you can actually park and fire.

EVENT MODE
• Start an event straight from its card — the setup screen in between is gone
• The song count now shows what the crowd has actually requested, live, instead of reading "No songs yet" during a full event
• Your events follow you across devices, so an event created on one phone is there on the other
• Played marks finally agree between your screen and the crowd's page — mark a song played and they see it, put one back and it clears
• Clear every played mark at once to run the same queue again
• Change an event's backdrop after you have created it, and see all seven at once
• When an event ends, the crowd's queue is kept on the event and can be saved into one of your team playlists

GAME OPENER
• Fixed a freeze and crash when starting an Apple Music track
• A real player, with artwork, progress and levels
• Voice announcements are now optional and off by default — the song plays on its own

### 1.0.22 — 2026-08-14

Game Day, rebuilt.

Downs, scoring and momentum now fit on one screen. Tap who scored and their song and announcement fire together, without hunting between tabs mid-play.

• Buttons you can read from the sideline. Every loaded button shows its song title in clear white on a deeper colour, so you can find the right one at a glance.

• Sound effect only, on purpose. Leave a button's songs empty and it fires just the sound effect. Perfect for a strikeout or a big out that wants the airhorn and nothing else.

• An announcer who sounds like one. Premium voices now deliver big calls with real energy instead of reading them flat.

• Add music in one place. One song picker instead of five: search, your Apple Music playlists, songs on your phone and our coach-tested picks all live together.

• Set exactly where a song starts. Tap any song to pick the moment it drops, and drag songs into the order you want in the playlist editor.

EVENT MODE

• Crowd requests open with your event. Tap Start Event and the QR code is already waiting on the Requests tab, so people can start scanning straight away. It folds away on its own once the first request lands.

• Events that look like your team. An event you start from a team opens with that team's sport emoji and crest already set. Swap either for anything you like.

• Play your set from the top again. A reset control clears the played marks when you want to run the whole list a second time.

BUILT FOR IPAD

iPad runs the same Game Day board as iPhone, with your playlist and every sound effect side by side.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE

A faster way to add a voice, which now remembers the announcer you picked instead of asking twice. Clearer in-app help across every sport. And a long list of fixes, including empty playlist screens on the football Music tab and a blank Sideline tab on iPad.

### 1.0.15 — 2026-08-05

GAME DAY, REDESIGNED

Every sport's Game Day screen has been rebuilt around one idea: fewer taps, less hunting.

ONE-TAP SONG BUTTONS
Your action buttons now live right on the main screen instead of behind a menu, and each one shows the song loaded on it. Tap 1st Down, Home Run, or Goal and the song starts at the exact moment you picked. Football's down buttons are color-coded so you can hit the right one without reading.

TAP THE PLAYER WHO SCORED
Touchdown and turnover songs are now a row of jersey numbers. Tap the player, their song and announcement fire together.

NEVER REPEAT A SONG
Anything you play — a walk-up, an action button, a break song, a fan pick — is marked as played everywhere in the app. No more accidentally running the same track twice in one game.

ALBUM ARTWORK EVERYWHERE
Playlists, now playing, and song lists all show real album art, so you can find a song by sight instead of reading titles.

NEW PLAYLIST VIEW
Open your full music library from any tab. Browse by category — Pre-Game, In-Game, Halftime, Post-Game, Fan Picks — plus a new Buttons view showing every song loaded on your action buttons. Shuffle, reset played songs, and star favorites to pin them up top.

FASTER SOUND EFFECTS
The quick sound dock is now a compact row of one-tap buttons that spans the full screen. Long-press any slot to swap its sound.

BY SPORT
• Football — inline Downs, Scoring, and Momentum buttons; Touchdown and Turnover player rows
• Baseball & Softball — redesigned break music hub; action buttons collapse by default to keep the lineup front and center
• Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Field Hockey — new music hub, played-song tracking that survives app restarts
• Volleyball & Wrestling — action buttons now show their assigned songs
• Cheerleading — added a playback scrub bar and Next button, and sound effects now available on the Sideline tab

FIXES
• Fixed iPad not loading played songs, sound effect settings, or fan requests when starting a baseball game
• Fixed cramped action buttons on smaller screens
• Faster, lighter app overall after a significant cleanup

### 1.0.14 — 2026-05-22

v1.0.14 brings a redesigned voice intro experience:

- Add or generate a voice for any player directly from their profile — no more wizard required for single-player changes
- Three ways to create voice intros: premium AI voices, record your own, or upload an audio file
- Sample any AI voice for free before generating
- Streamlined pronunciation editor with toggles for jersey number, first name, nickname, and last name, plus a live preview
- Football: cleaner control over touchdown announcements with separate toggles for the "Touchdown!" exclamation and the player intro
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
