Last couple years with the app future not storing information really sucked. I wish the love device would last more than 2 years, but whatever. BUT the APP is the BEST I have tried other apps and this one is by far the most user friendly. It isn’t overloaded with features that make navigating hard. It has what you want in front of you and the BEST BEST thing is the power saver it has. You don’t turn off phone, just put in pocket and screen goes black. You then take it out of phone and it turns back on (uses the camera). Only App feature I wish would be added is when you tag a shot, it should have a counter that changes so when I am searching for ball, I could see the distance I usually hit it and feel confident of the area. I’ve use this app for years now and it functions has gotten worse every year. I haven’t been able to update my stats since 2020. I got two years of info lost. I have tried other apps but they need too much time on the course to input information. Recorded shots with no issues and uploaded rounds quikly, data up the ying yang. my last no recorded round was jan 2021. Since then i have gone with another shot tracking system. I recently dug out the game golf live and installed them to a travel golf set. I played a few rounds with it and no issues with gps and shot recording during the rounds. The problem is retrieving the data from the rounds played. There are 88 rounds stored and no shots recorded (0 even score). I though the latest update would resolve the issue but it didnt, too bad! Even is i manually edit all the shots in the round it still would not upload. (Circle arrow on top of screen and no button on bottom to delete round). Well, game golf live was a good shot tracking system while it lasted. ### 2/5 — Was great, now 👎 *2022-07-10, version 3.0.22* I have used the app for years and it worked great but for the last year it loses my rounds and my stats. I have bought a couple of trackers, fiddled with their updates, submitted bug reports. I want this to work so badly because before they went away from tapping the tags on the sensor on your belt it worked perfectly. The only reason I bought a KZN device is because the battery wouldn’t hold a charge in my “live” device. The interface is now buggy, tracking inconsistent. The app is not reading the course correctly, seems like its out of scale and that’s having a terrible effect on the use of the GPS. Took me about 7 holes to realize that the yardages were off by 1, sometimes 2 clubs. Right now unless this is fixed the all is worthless. I kept seeing replies to issues like mine below that said “use the transfer program on PC. Even if the app doesn’t work, the device has the round stored on it.” Well guess what, it doesn’t. So this system is utterly useless now. Guess I’ll be getting something else. This app used to be great. Last season I had no issues. This year? Not so much. I have yet to be able to see a round after. During the round it tracks fine, then I finish the round, it shows me the score and summary. But after that, it resets for some reason, cancels out my round, and then shows 80+ rounds waiting for review which are just all the course I played, duplicated, with 0 shots tracked. Coupled with the new KZN (Continuous Improvement) the folks at GameGolf have done a fantastic job at providing a lot more detail , drill-down and information that really helps game improvement. ### 5/5 — Thank you GAMEGOLF *2021-08-07, version 3.0.15* I’ve had the GAMEGOLF Pro now for a little of two years and wanted to share my experience with everyone who is has or considering purchasing a GAMEGOLF device. I received my device as a birthday present. It was one out of the three that was purchased at the same time. It took a little bit of understanding and patience to set it all up but once it was I’ve absolutely enjoyed having my GAMEGOLF and being able to review each round afterwards on my iPhone or on a computer has been great. Of course just like any other item or electronic there have been some issues here and there but I’ve been able to correct them or solve them myself. But the good by far out weighs the bad. One issue in particular I was having was the sensors batteries were going dead. Just like any other battery. The other two devices that were purchased with mine were having the same issue. At first I did have some trouble getting in contact with support and once I was able to speak with someone they totally blew my mind with the level of support they gave me. One of the other devices that was purchased was experiencing GPS issues from time to time and the other sometimes too longer to pair than usual. I expressed how much we really enjoyed using the devices and still continued to use them as long as they were working. I for one having missed a round without having it on my hip. I assumed they would trouble shoot the devices by giving some instructions and possibly some replacement sensors or batteries but I was completely wrong. For still showing support and taking the time to reach out to them to express my gratitude and also my concerns they apologized for any and all issues we were having and replaced our devices with newer ones. Amd I’ve got to tell you they are even better and spit on with every shot I make. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE NEW GAME GOLF devices. I want to personally thank Mike for his level of support and willingness to help a supporter of their product and will be as long as they are around. I also encourage anyone considering buying a device to do so and if you do go with the Pro version. It does all the work for you allowing you to concentrate on your game and not your score. The GPS and club tracking is outstanding. Overall it is a pleasure to use both on the course as well as reviewing the round at home. Really good customer support, easy to contact and happy to help ### 5/5 — Works Once You Get It Right *2021-06-25, version 3.0.15* I used the original game golf for years and used it to improve my game by showing me that my misses with my driver was normally left. My misses with my iron was normally short, etc. The only feature I didn’t like was the tapping of my clubs to record the shot. Now with the Game Golf Pro that feature has been eliminated. All you have to do is keep your phone near you and swing. It records virtually every shot without having to tap your clubs. Remember to skip the QR code when pairing your tabs. Plus it has a 2032 lithium battery that’s replaceable inside the tabs now. So when your Game Golf Pro starts missing shots, all you need to do is change the battery and your Game Golf Pro is like new again. ### 5/5 — Game golf Pro *2021-05-06, version 3.0.15* Been using game golf since 2014. Recently Upgraded to Pro version and had several problems getting it set up. Customer service was excellent and responsive and addressed all issues. You are able to set up date/time to talk directly to person. I’ve received amazing customer care whereby when I had problem with my tags I was sent a new set with no costs to me. I lost my divot repair tool I was sent a new one. When the batteries on the tags went I was sent the tool as well as informed which battery would work as well as Michael sent me videos how to use the tool. With technology it’s never perfect. I found the golf caddie very helpful whereby it’s approximately 90% accurate with the wind speed & yardage. Club recommendation is precise hence it improved my game as well as dropped my handicap.
