## What is GameHubz?

GameHubz is the ultimate platform for esports enthusiasts. Browse, join, and track gaming tournaments across your favorite titles. Manage your player profile, connect with hubs, and stay updated on the latest matches. Built for competitive gamers by gamers.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.16.0 — 2026-09-07

• Video match evidence: attach a video clip as evidence for a match, not just screenshots. Clips are compressed on your device before uploading and can be previewed in the app.
• Cancel a scheduled match time: organizers can undo a confirmed kick-off, which clears the time and both players' offered availability and returns the match to unscheduled.
• Fixes and performance improvements.

### 2.15.0 — 2026-09-04

Version 2.15.0

• Spanish language support: the entire app is now available in Spanish. Choose your language in Settings, and your push notifications and emails are delivered in the language you selected.
• Mute a match: silence a match chat's push notifications, Discord messages and badge from the match screen, while keeping the conversation in your inbox.
• Notification settings: a new section in Settings to control which notifications you receive, starting with moderated chat notifications.
• Tournament progress view: see at a glance which fixtures in a round are completed, awaiting a result, proposed, or going to a tie-break.
• Fixes and performance improvements.

### 2.14.0 — 2026-08-24

Version 2.14.0

• Best-of series for matches: choose how many games a match is played over (Best-of 1, 3, 5, and more) and how a series is won — by most game wins or highest total score.
• Per-round formats: set a different Best-of for each round of a tournament. Matches already played keep the format they were played under.
• Knockout series with tie-breaks: brackets can now be played as full series, with a configurable length for the knockout stage and a tie-break replay to settle a level series.
• Game-by-game score entry: report a series one game at a time, with the running series score updated live.
• Redesigned match screen and match details for a clearer view of series scores.
• The app now applies updates automatically in the background.
• Fixes and performance improvements.

### 2.13.0 — 2026-08-01

Version 2.13.0

• Reserves for team tournaments: organizers can allow teams to carry bench players on top of their lineup and set how many reserve slots each team gets. Filling them is optional.
• Team captains can swap a reserve in for a starter between rounds, straight from the team dashboard — so a team no longer has to forfeit when one player is unavailable.
• Participant swap: hub owners and admins can transfer a participant's spot to another hub member when someone drops out. The replacement keeps the original seed, group, standings, and any matches already played, so the tournament stays intact.
• Swap eligibility is determined automatically by the tournament format.
• Fixes and minor improvements.

### 2.12.0 — 2026-07-27

Added an option to choose how the bracket is generated.
