## What is GameNightScorePad?

ScorePad is a clean, fast score tracker for any card game, board game, or tabletop game — competitive, cooperative, or team-vs-team. No accounts, no ads, no subscriptions — just open it and start scoring.

GAME TYPES

Individual: Classic player-vs-player scoring with a clear winner.

Cooperative: For games where everyone plays together against the game, like The Crew. Record a shared Won or Lost, name the scenario or mission you played, and tap Play Again to retry after a loss. Co-op results are kept out of the competitive stats.

Team: Split players into teams and score team-vs-team in either scoring mode. ScorePad remembers your team rosters and tracks each team's wins, losses, and head-to-head matchups.

ScorePad remembers each game's usual type, so it's ready the next time you play.

SCORING MODES

Round-based scoring: Set a number of rounds and get a grid with one column per player (or team) and one row per round. Enter each score per round; totals update instantly. Perfect for card games, board games, or any game with distinct turns.

Quick scoring: Leave rounds blank for a simple + and - view. Tap or hold the buttons to add or subtract from each running total. Hold the button to auto-increase quickly. Best for fast games where you just want a running total.

Starting score: Set a custom starting value for games that count down, like 301 darts or Cribbage.

PAUSE & MULTIPLE GAMES

Step away without ending a game — it waits under In Progress at the top of History, ready to resume. Keep several games going at once and give each a label to tell them apart.

PLAYERS, TEAMS & HISTORY

Player names are saved automatically. When starting a new game, type a name and tap a suggestion to reuse an existing player — their stats and history carry over. The Players tab shows every player's game count and history, plus a Teams view of the groups you've played in. Browse History by date or by game, search by player, and — for cooperative games — filter by Won or Lost. The Stats tab shows top players, most-played games, score trends over time, and team records with head-to-head matchups.

ICLOUD SYNC

ScorePad automatically syncs your game history, players, and scores across every iPhone and iPad signed into the same Apple ID. Pick up a game on your iPhone and finish it on your iPad. Nothing to set up — it works as long as you are signed into iCloud.

RANDOM PICKER

Everyone puts a finger on the screen at the same time. ScorePad randomly highlights one to pick who goes first. Fair, instant, no arguments.

EXPORT & IMPORT

Back up your full game history to a file at any time. Share it, store it in Files, or import it onto another device. Duplicates are merged automatically.

PRIVACY

ScorePad collects no data. Your scores, player names, and game history are stored on your device and synced to your own iCloud account — they never leave your control and are never accessible to us.

SUPPORT THE APP

ScorePad is free with no ads or paywalls. If you enjoy it, the Tip Jar in Settings lets you leave an optional tip to support development.

### 5/5 — The ultimate multipurpose score keeper!

*2026-05-28*

I got so tired of trying to remember who I played with, who won and how many times I’ve played certain board games or card games. I also wanted something to keep score while doing outdoor activities like mini-golf. This app completely solved those problems.

It isn’t locked into just one specific game; instead, it's a beautifully simple, highly customizable tracker that handles pretty much anything I throw at it. I can just set up my players, customize the parameters, and start counting. It's just as useful sitting on a game room table as it is in my pocket on a golf course.

My absolute favorite part is the statistics tab. Being able to dive into the data and track our wins, losses, and historical scores over time adds a whole new layer of fun to our competitive play!

The user interface is incredibly friendly and clean. It makes adding or subtracting points effortless, so it never interrupts the flow of whatever we're playing. I was looking for a lightweight, reliable tool to replace all my loose score sheets and specific counter cards and pencils. I am so happy I found this!
