### 5/5 — Fabulous

*2019-02-19, version 1.25*

Nice app for football pool. The Super-cross option adds an interesting new dimension to the traditional squares. Provides a great touch to your game party when you mirror the draw of game results on TV.

### 5/5 — Great Football Pool App

*2019-02-18, version 1.25*

I got this app at the last minutes before the game. It worked and served our purpose. But I would suggest installing it well ahead of starting the pool. It offers many exciting pool options that you may want to try out before deciding what to include in your pool. Overall a nice app!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2019-02-12, version 1.25*

Great app for super bowl pool! Worked fine on my iphone in portrait and landscape orientations. The grid screen looks better horizontally especially since I mirrored it and the winner displays on TV screen. The presentation was well liked in the party.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2017-10-10, version 1.24*

Perfect app for organizing a football pool. Easy to setup and run. You can set bet costs as you want. My favorite part is the winner announcements at the end of each quarter. A must for Super Bowl!

### 5/5 — Excellent

Great app for the football season. I now use this every Saturday and Sunday during the fall. All my friends come over early and use this to get ready for the games and party. Love this app.

### 5/5 — The Best Pool!

*2017-10-06, version 1.24*

We used this app to setup a football pool for family & friends instead of drawing 100 squares and allocate them out randomly. This turned out to be a great idea. It helped us enter the players and we bets methodically. The calling out of winners in the first quarter was amusing to the point that we looked forward to the winner announcements in all quarters. It was an interesting part of the game that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

### 5/5 — Great!

### 5/5 — Top Notch

*2017-01-14, version 1.19*

Great app for hosting football pools

### 5/5 — Great Side Show!

*2017-01-13, version 1.19*

This is a lovely app to run on your TV when watching a game with friends who have placed bets in the pool. After closing the pool for additional bets prior to the start of the game I used Apple TV to display quarterly results. Just put the iPhone (or iPad) in landscape position and mirror it to the TV before entering the score for the quarter. Now enter the score and everyone will be party to the announcement of the winners. It will be a nice 1-2 minute diversion.
We loved it! It added a nice new dimension to our game party.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2016-12-20, version 1.19*

Decent app for running a football pool. It has an organized way to record and display bets of each player. It allows multiple game bets in addition to the squares and has many other features. The declaration and notification of winners is excellent. Worked without a problem.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — User unfriendly

*2019-09-25, version 2.0*

Too hard to use. Difficult to choose squares for players. I was trying to transfer a created grid squares and I could figure out how to get out random.

### 1/5 — Basic features and needs work

*2019-02-03, version 1.25*

Each player should have their own color

Can’t switch between pools easily. Lost my first pool after attempting to create a 2nd one.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2017-02-07, version 1.19*

Lacking a lot. Very hard for people to track their squares. Spent over an hour uploading pictures and name audio. Didn't even work. Sound wouldn't play on Apple TV or blue tooth. Would have been better if I just used a piece of paper. I paid for the premium which is a waste. I hope I get a refund.

### 2/5 — Major features missing makes it unusable.

*2021-02-06, version 2.6*

First some nitpicking. The interface is a bit clunky but you get used to it. Chiefs is spelled wrong, it is shown as “Chiefs” in list. You need to ask for confirmation when deleting a user, any good interface does that. the layout here is so tight it’s too easy to select the wrong user and then poof it’s gone, no warning. It would be nice to have alternate data import methods too.

Now for the major items. No ability to select squares. Even THIS could be overlooked if the numbers were not sequential and selected until after all users were entered. But with no ability to pick squares AND no way to pick the numbers after all the boxes have been sold, it is unusable for any serious pool.

### 3/5 — Only good App

*2020-01-19, version 2.4*

However, the app keeps crashing during the vocal announcements.

### 3/5 — Traditional Squares

*2018-12-31, version 1.24*

Hi, I am liking this app so far, but I have a question? Is there a way to setup a traditional Squares Game, for like the SuperBowl? I would like friends and family to be able to pick there own squares and then when all the squares are full have the numbers 0-9 for each team randomly picked. Is there a way to do this in the app already? If not, do you plan to do it in the future?

### 3/5 — Not great

*2017-12-28, version 1.24*

Players can’t choose their own squares. The app asks how many and then assigns them for you.

### 5/5 — Best Football Pool App

*2021-02-16, version 2.6*

Pleasant and fun app that works!

### 5/5 — Good Pool App

*2021-02-16, version 2.6*

Glorious superbowl squares version in an app. Works fine.

### 5/5 — Low tech, high joy

*2021-02-08, version 2.6*

This is an amazing, homegrown app and I really can’t say enough nice things about it. It is not slick at all but the score announcements and the layout are insanely unique and Web 0.5.

One issue: I couldn’t email any of my participants (it always crashed) so I relied on screenshots to share results. I do have the paid version.

Don’t download this looking for a multimillion developed app. Instead, enjoy a rare gem.
