### 4/5 — Its working

*2026-06-02, version 2026.14*

The functionalities are all working would love to have some time stamping functionallity. Put the month and year that you set a game to finish or completed. Allowing you to filter games better

### 4/5 — language

*2026-04-29, version 2026.14*

Please add the Russian language

### 4/5 — Great but some additional Quality of Life Features would be cool

*2026-04-01, version 3.1.2*

Great so far, would like another completion status ‘Paused’ as Abandoned doesn’t quite fit for some games that I’m not currently playing, but do intend to go back to. If this could be added, that would be great, currently I’m just using a custom folder for my paused games. If possible also, it would be cool to maybe have folders within folders as I like to make lists for all the games I have physically, but like to separate them by console and would appreciate if I could group these folders together inside one big folder collection of some kind. One last thing would be the ability to set different completion statuses based on different console versions of the game. Some games, I have played on PS4 for example, but haven’t started playing on my Switch. So if I could set my PS4 version as “completed” and put my switch version in my backlog, that would be incredible and this could become my favourite app to track games on. Perhaps also a feature to track play sessions, similar to Infinite Backlog, if I could track individual play sessions, maybe have the option to create separate Playthroughs too, then I could track the time played in individual sessions, link streams or YouTube videos, and this could link to trophy/achievement data too. If any of this is at all possible and gets added then I’d likely switch to Gamery as my one and only tracking app for my games. However at the moment, I am just using it to track my collections and using Infinite Backlog for tracking play sessions. The UI in Gamery is far cleaner and user friendly though so if all those features were added, I’d likely switch to Gamery completely and use only this. Great App, lots of potential for the future, I look forward to seeing what gets added, I’ve seen other people’s requests be added to the app from other reviews so I really love the listening to user feedback and really admire the effort put into the app. Keep it up!

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2026-03-23*

Thank you SO much for this app! It is my go to now for my back log. There are so many great things about it. I love the thumbnails. The search is easy. The categories work well. My only requests would be for there to be a way to search your titles. Bigger than that would be time to beat information. I love how some games pull in this info. For those that don’t, it would be great to be able to edit with information I’ve found. Also, adding the time to beat to the filter options in all games would be helpful too. Fingers crossed for these updates. Appreciate your work!

### 4/5 — Super helpful!

*2025-12-25*

I’ve been using this app for months to keep track of all of my games. I love how easy it is to use and all of the extra little features like the randomized game picker and upcoming events showcase. Though I would absolutely love if you all could implement a letterboxd like system. allowing you to create your own account, follow your friends, rate and review games, and showcase your top 5. If these things were added I would easily buy a lifelong premium membership.

### 4/5 — Sorting

*2025-12-09, version 3.1.1*

All is good Just need a setting to sort games according to their game length

### 4/5 — Please add custom ordered lists

*2025-06-07*

I really like it but it won’t let order them in the order I want to play them.

### 5/5 — My new favorite app!

*2025-05-11*

As someone who used Playnite on my desktop, this app is truly amazing. It’s everything I’ve wanted in a game library tracker. It syncs perfectly between my iPad and iPhone. Being able to rename and rematch things is awesome too. That way I don’t have to look at the 15 different versions of Minecraft I’ve had over the years. Looking forward to the new features! Very quickly turned me into a loyal subscriber!

### 5/5 — A small feature suggestion to make the app flawless

*2025-04-12*

This app is amazing but It would be great if there was a section for browsing games.
For example, we wouldn’t need to search for every game that comes to our mind.
Something like an “Explore” section with different genres, so we can find our desired games based on their genre and then add them to our list in the app.
If you add this feature in future updates, the app will be absolutely perfect and flawless!

### 5/5 — Best I’ve used so far!

*2025-04-03*

Honestly this is the best game tracker app I have used and I’m considering buying the payed version. The only I wished the developers could do is to make a Mac version please 🙏🏼

### 4/5 — Questions about update

*2025-03-28*

Can someone explain the new status updates? What’s the difference between completed and finished? I assume completed is a complete 100%, nothing left to do on the game, and finished means you just finished the main story but there is still more to do. Or do I have that backwards? Also ongoing and finished don’t show up in the stats. Also what’s the difference between ongoing and playing?

**Developer response:** You got that right, completed is 100% completion while finished is just a playthrough of the story. Ongoing is for live service multiplayer games which do not really have an ending.

Ongoing and finished should show up in the Status chart in the statistics tab. If it does not, drop me a mail at feedback@gamery.app and I‘ll have a look.

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2025-03-26, version 2.11*

Great we can now track personal ratings for games and have more categories for completion states.

Would be better if we could add .5 star ratings rather than just whole numbers, have an average rating for the game on the app and make them more visible on the tracking lists.

### 4/5 — Amazing app!

*2025-03-26, version 2.11*

Haven’t used this app for long, but I absolutely love it! I had originally gone through 5 other apps until I found this one. So much is already offered in the free version. The only thing I wish this app would have to make it perfect is to have the ability to link this to a steam account, so the achievements come through as you complete them

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-03-25, version 2.11*

So glad to have finally found a fully featured library app, I tried four to six others before deciding on Gamery and they all usually were difficult to add games/make organizing groups, this one made it easiest which is the most important because you’ll have to do that hundreds of times lol the premium pricing seems fair, just think it should be something more reasonable like 19.99

### 5/5 — The Best Game Library Tracker

*2025-03-23*

I have tried about every game tracking app out there and I wanted to say I think Gamery is by far the best. It’s straightforward and easy to use, avoiding over complication that a lot of apps do. The UI looks simply amazing and feels completely at home on iOS. It is a great mix of easy of use, aesthetics, and functionality that I wish more apps had. I also really appreciate that you have a very reasonable lifetime premiere purchase option. Especially in this subscription weary digital world.

I hope one day to be able to rearrange the order of collections on the My Games screen. That would be icing on the cake. 😜

Your work is great and appreciated! Thank you for continuously improving and supporting Gamery. Thank you!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Lost everything with update

*2025-10-12, version 3.0.2*

Updated app. Lost everything . I had a paid subscription too. Don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Unasable

*2025-06-11, version 2.15.5*

No matter what I did, the keyboard wouldn’t pop up to enter passwords or 2FA. Also, paste not an option for 2FA. You can’t login to Steam as you would some of these other platforms, so you are forced to make your steam profile public, which I don’t want to do. I probably used the app for about five minutes before I canceled the trial and uninstalled it.

### 1/5 — Update cut off access to my list

*2024-11-11, version 2.9*

I wasted a lot of time adding half my collection to the app then it updated and cut off access to much of what I had put in begging for pay. Limited features anyways, but I regret the time I spent with this app. Avoid.

### 1/5 — Steam Import Doesn’t Work

*2023-07-09*

The main reason I was interested in the app is to automatically track my games. The Steam import simply doesn’t work, so I’m left adding them all manually.

Update: the 2.0 update hasn’t fixed the Steam issue. I emailed the developer as requested, but since the initial request he hasn’t responded to my follow up attempts at helping him investigate the problem. Emails are now bouncing when I try to email him. I’m happy to update this review when this feature is resolved.

As previously mentioned, the main appeal to this app is the automation aspect. Without that working, I see little value over making my own list to track games.

**Developer response:** Please drop me an email at press@appstories.de with details. Do you use the profile URL or the login form to import games from Steam?

### 2/5 — Many Problems

*2026-02-15, version 3.1.2*

Many games can't be found even after linking accounts and running a sync. Or searching for them manually. Xbox achievements don't work even if you find the correct game.

### 2/5 — Too Many Unmatched Games

*2025-01-18, version 2.9.2*

There are were way too many unmatched games from Steam and GOG.

If I manually search using the exact same title in the unmatched list, they are instantly found.

Seems like a bug that should be addressed.

### 2/5 — Good for small collections

*2022-10-08, version 1.5.4*

Nice interface, feels good to use. Import is spotty in terms of matching/detecting titles and it can't handle larger collections, as I was unable to import my steam library even after subbing (via trial) so it could sync periodically.

### 3/5 — Too many “sync fails”

*2026-06-03*

This is by far one of my most fav apps, I really like looking at all the game stats and using the neat features. But lately every time I open the app, I have to make the “Sync Failed” pop-up go away at least 10 times, and it’s always a wall of text repeatedly saying the same thing. It’d be fine if it just appeared once, but it’s getting kind of frustrating. If you could find a way to fix it that’d be cool :)

### 3/5 — Works great. I’ve been looking for a game tracker.

*2024-06-13*

So I’ll start by mentioning, I paid for the premium version of this app after I saw how it fit exactly what I was looking for in a game tracker.

You can import games from multiple platforms, update their status, view statistics etc. It’s great.

A small issue I noticed is, if a game title has something like a semi colon then it makes the API angry and you get a 400 bad request. This should be updated.

Here is my biggest gripe:

For some reason, importing games from Xbox is the only option that doesn’t require login with a username and password. Because of this, you need to use your gamertag.

This would be fine, but it isn’t working currently (not for me, anyway). So I am unable to import games from my Xbox library, which is my biggest game library.

If this is addressed then I’d easily update my review to 5 stars.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fantastic for my OCD brain

*2026-07-26*

Phenomenal app that allows you to track the way you want to track. It will keep you up to date on game info as well.
One request for the dev that I have is to allow searchable tags and maybe to allow wishlist items to be added to collections.

### 5/5 — Ysususeueuirirofordsueieiri

### 5/5 — Beautiful and functional

*2026-07-05*

I think it’s the best app all around in this category.

### 5/5 — Review

*2026-05-19*

Almost perfect. The only additions needed are the icons for classic games, the ability to mark what state one's physical ownership is in (CIB, Loose), number of copies owned, the ability to mark physical or digital ownership, and maybe a logo recognition option to add carts faster. Aside from that, this is intuitive, full of features, and connecting to one's libraries is fantastic.

### 5/5 — Great organisation

*2026-05-14, version 2026.14*

First time using and it has all games in its library. I am very happy with this app

### 5/5 — It keeps crashing

*2026-03-17, version 3.1.2*

It keeps crashing fix this now

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-01-09*

This app is so well optimized. Easy to use too! My biggest complaint about IGN Playlist is that it would often crash. That never happens here!

### 5/5 — This is easily the best of these apps

*2025-11-07*

I have tried them all, this is the one that I keep coming back to, nothing else measures up. It has easily the best import and syncing process with libraries on all major platforms.

### 5/5 — Its working

*2025-10-30, version 3.0.2*

Seems to all be working i like!!

### 5/5 — Beautiful but not quite finished

*2025-09-26*

I love this app. I’ve been tracking my games on DekuDeals, but this looks a lot better, has better categories (“Ongoing” and “Finished”), and has games for older platforms like 3DS.

It is however missing a number of essential features: a web client, digital vs. physical categories, an activity log, and sharing features like permalinks and public lists. And of course, it doesn’t have the awesome deals tracking that DekuDeals has.

The app is under active development, and the developer is receptive to feedback, so I’m going to keep an eye on this and hopefully be able to fully commit to it when it’s a little more fleshed out.
