I did find it informative and useful for a lot of gaming news. However, the ads that appear after every article and when you first open the app are ridiculous and too frustrating. As you’re scrolling through articles, you’re interrupted with a full screen ad. After reading an article and returning to the news list, you’re interrupted with a full screen ad. I’ve had this app for a long time, but the ads have just gotten obnoxious. I have uninstalled this app and won’t be returning. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your patience and understanding. ### 2/5 — Ads have taken over this app *2024-07-13* This used to be my favorite app to use for video game info. Used to be no annoying ads which was great. Then they added an ad when you opened the app the first time, ok that’s fine, I understand they have to make money. Now I can’t even scroll or click on any articles without being bombarded with endless ads. The app is worthless now after many years of using it. Thank you for your support over the years. ### 1/5 — Ruined it with advertisements *2024-07-12* The last “ update” throws a full screen ad after opening, after every article , display going to sleep, switching from another all, then just random while you are reading an article. It’s like they actively are trying to get you to not use it. I used to read everyday but find myself so annoyed at the ads being thrown at you that I’m pretty close to just deleting…way to ruin a good app with excessive advertisements. Now however the amount of adds popping up just from scrolling articles is ridiculous, makes the app frustrating and it’s becoming a pain to use. Would of given 5 stars prior to this. ### 2/5 — I paid for this app and now I have now commenting *2024-07-06, version 5.0.1* I paid money for this app and now it updated and other people can still comment and I can’t. Stop making updates to the app if your software update to force social silence doesn’t force everyone too… I can still see the smart people who didn’t update able to still make comments- but I can’t comment or read them. You lazily took out the comments and are still pretending to update. Stop. It was a feature that kept me engaged with the app and its removal will lessen the enjoyment I experience when using it. Instead of removing comments entirely, why not lean in to AI moderation and enhanced filters for the user to tailor the experience to their liking? **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. Deleted! ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2023-11-21, version 4.0.5* I used to use the all regularly for gaming news and overall enjoyed it, I paid a couple of years ago for lifetime no ADDS, all of a sudden adds are popping up left, right and centre and in order to remove them you have to pay for a subscription. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Barely any news about games, not worth your time and definitely not worth your money *2026-05-25, version 8.0.1* It was the best now it’s full of non game news, homicide news, the last thing i wanted to see on it. Shame but i had to stop paying for ad free and then just deleted it. And when you block a news article, you still see the articles on the homepage. Maybe when the devs see engagement plummet they will go back to how it was. And whoever oversaw this design change should be fired. (B.F.A. If I block a source I don’t want to see their articles at all, not even the titles! Right now the only thing that changes is that if I open the article it’s empty, and LAD Bible makes so many useless articles that clutters the whole app! On the top news you should be able to put an emote, but that just doesn't work and in the previous version you could do that to all news, not just top ones. There’s so many more ads now! I tried to go to the remove ads section and it just throws me an error! Have you guys never heard of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”? Or even just bug testing ### 1/5 — Used to be good.
