### 1/5 — Trash

Trash

**Developer response:** Hello, can you tell me what I can improve about the app? Thanks

### 1/5 — Terrible marketing

*2025-09-16*

Should’ve mentioned the widgets require a subscription in the ad

**Developer response:** Hello, I am sorry. The entire app including marketing is single person and this did not occur to me.

### 1/5 — Can I play any of the games?

*2024-08-11*

This one is terrible. You cannot even play the games.

### 3/5 — Nice Concept But Limited Database

*2023-05-28*

I don’t know if it’s the source they use or what but a lot of upcoming iOS games are not available to be added to the widget. A lot of upcoming games listed on Game Pressure are not available to be added to the widget including Monument Valley 3. Seems like the developer shouldn’t rely on one source for upcoming games and should instead use many different sources to form a more complete database of upcoming games.

**Developer response:** Hello, thanks for the feedback! I understand the frustration regarding very low amount of iOS games. IGDB is probably the biggest and community driven, so hopefully the situation will improve. I will also try to contribute iOS games there myself (anyone can contribute)

### 4/5 — This is the one!

*2026-08-28*

I’ve searched high and low for a game release date tracker with reminders and downloaded so many apps, and this one came out on top. It’s the best at pulling data from IGDB (so many games just don’t show up on the other apps I’ve tried), the reminders work properly, and the free tier is very good. My only issue is the UI/UX. It’s by no means bad, but I wish it were a little prettier or sleeker.

### 4/5 — Perfect for a prince

The app is beautiful and has the necessary functionalities with the main information about the games, but I think it's expensive for what it offers. Charging to see reviews or a price just for access seems strange. In my opinion, if the goal was to finance through subscriptions, they should first build a base of active users, a community, and then add prices for more cosmetic things, the number of organizations, and things like that. I don't feel like paying the app price for a new app that I don't know if it will have a consolidated user base and consequently allow me to see a game, the opinions, and get any idea about it, if I can see it for free elsewhere. Another thing I don't like much is offering several options of the same game (i.e., Wildlands Deluxe Edition; Wildlands Complete Edition). I prefer when it's the game itself and within it, the versions appear, like a subcategory. But anyway, the app is gorgeous, it makes you want to use it and follow along, but it's still too early to draw any conclusions. Congratulations to the developer who knew how to combine the backlog aspect with a more Apple-like UI. The same goes for the Nintendo one, but in my opinion, it ends up being expensive. Maybe I'm just poor.

**Developer response:** Hello, thanks for detailed feedback. As for the free/paid version limits - this is very hard to get right and in a way that works for everyone. The reason for locking reviews for individual games is that OpenCritic is big monthly cost for me and something that can be viewed as "extra". In the past I mostly removed existing limits (for example the Favorites collection used to be limited).

I will look into the editions - I am not super happy with it myself - the main issue is that IGDB sometimes doesn't list them, sometimes the editions have different releases or platforms so it makes proactive "hiding" them into main game bit problematic. I would appreciate more details about where in the app are the editions most bothering you.

Best,
Filip

### 4/5 — Almost perfect app that checks nearly all my boxes!

*2026-08-06*

This is a wonderfully designed app! I’ve literally researched and tried every video game related app and web based platform out there. This one has a sleek design, very reasonable one time purchase option if desired, tags (also a work around for creating custom lists), ability to follow developers as well as publishers to get updates when they release new games (which no one else seems to have!), wishlist reminders, industry event reminders, and widgets! I appreciate that this is NOT a social app like many other game apps are trying to be. We don’t need yet another place for amateur reviews and following strangers. You can rate games and see professional reviews though. You can also mark completion status.

The biggest thing missing for me is a way to export my collection to a spreadsheet or something like other apps offer. Is this planned? A way to connect to libraries like Steam, XBOX, and PlayStation would also be nice.

FYI the “Contact” button in the app appears to be broken and doesn’t do anything.

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for feedback and the kind words! The export would be possible - the main question is about the format I think. As for connecting Steam and other services - I would like to offer it at least for initial import but I believe only Steam offers "official" access and using workarounds is quite risky so I am not sure how to approach it. I will check the "Contact" button, it should open your default email client.

Best,
Filip

Can find interesting upcoming games.

### 4/5 — BEST GAMING TRACKER APP!

*2025-02-23*

Love this app! Been a subscriber for a few months and its the best, bar none. If i had one request it would be to add a feature which allows friends/followers to view your wishlist etc. possibly a link that leads to your wishlist? As a person with a youtube play-through channel it would be cool for people to know what I’m planning to buy/play next.

**Developer response:** Hello, thanks for the kind words and feedback! Would you mind getting in touch via email so I can better understand the idea about sharing wishlists? Thanks

### 4/5 — Beautiful app! Needs more games

*2023-06-11*

Absolutely gorgeous app and widgets, and I love using it. My only hope for improvement are that we get a better source for games. It’s still missing some really high profile games that I’m looking forward to that have been announced for a long time, like Avowed or Hellblade 2. Even if they don’t have dates yet, they should still be discoverable. MGS Delta is in there with TBD as the date, which I’d love to see for everything else.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! The missing games is fair criticism. Unfortunately it seems I have some issues with the automatic imports, so I am trying to add missing games manually to compensate and work on longer-term fix.

Both Avowed and Hellblade 2 should now be available via search :-)

Game buddy is a really cool app and I hope to use it many many years into the future thank you game buddy for providing us with gaming content. This app is better than gaming. Informer and Gail train game trailer would have ever been believe it or not.

### 5/5 — Awesome little app

*2025-10-04*

Have been looking for an app like this for years. One that combines upcoming games, reviews, trailers, and events all in one area without nuisance ads. This app does the trick and I was more than happy to subscribe to help out the dev. The added widgets for the Home Screen are just a cherry on top of a phenomenal app.

### 5/5 — Best gaming tracking app!

*2025-09-23*

I’ve been using this app since it first came out and this app has helped me tracking all my games. I’ve been able to make a huge dent in my backlog by having one place to organize and see how long these games take to beat. Highly recommend. Oh and the UI is slick!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic for new release info

*2025-04-26*

Not only is the UI excellent, but the content is deep. I’m always looking for a decent game release calendar with good info. This app surpasses my expectations and I hope more people will discover it. I’ve been telling my buddies!

### 5/5 — Good

*2023-05-28*

Got this app from the same developer as switch buddy. Both apps are worth the price. As soon as I saw it I downloaded it. So handy to have this kind of info on games coming up and what's around. Nice looking app as well and widgets are handy too. Glad I got it.
