## What is GammaDesk?

GammaDesk is a focused analysis cockpit for short-dated options across 29 symbols - index products, ETFs and single stocks. It computes dealer gamma exposure (GEX) from the live options chain and turns it into the levels that matter intraday.

COVERAGE
Indices and ETFs: SPX, NDX, SPY, QQQ, DIA
Mega caps: AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOGL, AMZN, META, TSLA
Single names: ADBE, AMD, APP, ARM, AVGO, COIN, CRWD, CRWV, FSLR, INTC, LLY, MRVL, MSTR, MU, NBIS, NOW, QCOM

The nearest live expiry is picked automatically for every symbol, so there is nothing to configure. The GEX profile rescales to each symbol's own strike grid, which means a $40 stock and a 6,000-point index are both read at a sensible resolution.

WHAT YOU GET
- Live GEX profile by strike, with the zero-gamma flip and the dealer positioning regime
- Call wall and put wall levels, plus the ATM expected-move range
- A deterministic directional bias built from four transparent signals, not a black box
- A plain-language forecast of the likely range, with a Pro mode that switches to technical terms
- A live intraday price target drawn from today's volume-weighted gamma
- Session guardrails: no-entry cutoff, 0DTE close warning, economic-event blackouts, and a gamma regime-change alert

BUILT FOR CLARITY
GammaDesk does not place trades and never tracks profit or loss. Every signal is derived from market data, the clock, and the calendar. All market-hours logic is pinned to US Eastern time.

IMPORTANT
GammaDesk is a personal analysis tool. Market data may be delayed or estimated and may be inaccurate or unavailable. Dealer positioning values are model estimates, not measurements. This is not investment advice.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-02

Fixed the share card — the share sheet sometimes opened empty instead of attaching the card.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-01

17 new symbols. The universe is now 29.
Expiry is now automatic — no more 0DTE / 1DTE / 5DTE selector.
The GEX profile scales to each symbol.
The intraday chart has been removed.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-07-29

Webull is now a data source. Add your Webull App Key and Secret in Settings ▸ Data, pick your region, and GammaDesk prices the chain from your own live Webull feed. Strikes and open interest still come from CBOE, and implied volatility is solved from the live quote.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-26

What-If Desk — set a hypothetical SPX price and see how dealer positioning, bias and the forecast range would look if price got there. Open it from Session ▸ Simulate.

Intraday chart rebuilt — touch and drag to read every level at any minute, switch between 30 minutes, 2 hours and the full session, and see gamma-regime shading with markers where price crossed the flip.

Widgets now refresh in the background, so your lock screen and home screen stay current without opening the app.

Also in this release: VoiceOver support across the charts and KPI tiles, haptic feedback when you change symbol or expiry, automatic retry with CBOE fallback when a data provider hiccups, and a significant performance fix that cuts battery use on the Flow tab.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-07-22

GammaDesk 1.2.0
- New lock-screen widgets: spot vs. flip, call/put walls, and a distance-to-flip gauge — plus a richer home-screen gamma-profile widget with a mini GEX sparkline.
- Daily Session Brief: an optional 9:30 AM ET reminder on trading days to check the day's flip and walls.
- Performance and stability improvements.
