## What is Gamora?

Gamora turns what you need to learn into study that sticks.

Instead of rereading the same page, you review at the right moment — the app works out when each item is about to slip away and brings it back. That's spaced repetition, the method with the most evidence behind it, without you having to manage anything.

BUILD YOUR CARDS YOUR WAY
Write them one by one, or describe the topic and let AI draft them. You review everything before saving: nothing lands in your account without your say-so.

TURN ANY MATERIAL INTO STUDY
Knowledge Capture reads what you already have and hands it back as cards:
• PDFs and text documents
• Photos of notes, slides or books
• Lecture video and audio
• Pages and notes

You choose how many cards and what kind. The cost is shown on screen before you confirm.

LEARN LANGUAGES WITH GUIDED PATHS
Guided paths from beginner to advanced, with short lessons that teach by listening and speaking — no grammar tables. English, Spanish and more, written by native speakers.

SEE REAL PROGRESS
• A daily streak to keep the rhythm
• Levels and achievements as you advance
• Accuracy, time and progress statistics
• Goals you set yourself

STUDY WITH OTHERS
Publish your decks to the community, discover what others have built, and pull into your account whatever fits.

MADE FOR EVERY DAY
• Works on phone and computer, everything in sync
• Keeps working without internet
• Import and export your decks whenever you want
• Clean interface, no ads in the middle of your study

WHO IT'S FOR
Students preparing for exams, language learners, professionals working toward a certification, and anyone tired of forgetting what they just studied.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-10-07

This is the biggest update to card creation yet: three new ways to get started, plus a guided tour for first-time use.

• Automatic mode: tell Gamora what you want to learn, and it builds the cards for you, no extra questions.
• Guided mode: not sure where to start? Chat with Gamora until you land on a topic, and it handles the rest.
• Simpler Custom creation: pick the group at the end, and you can move cards between groups afterward.
• A guided tour on first use, with tips right where you need them.
• "Learn first": before quizzing you, Gamora shows the question and answer together so you can learn without pressure.
• "Decks" are now called "groups": same organization, simpler name.
• If you do not have any cards yet, the app now takes you straight to card creation instead of an empty screen.
• New "Create Cards" shortcut on the desktop Home screen.
• Fixed: revealing the answer on a pronunciation card no longer breaks your correct-answer streak.
• Fixed: after creating cards, "Start Studying" now takes you straight to the right group.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-09-16

This version brings the app closer to you — literally.

• Servers now live in Brazil. Every tap that needed an answer used to travel to the United States and back. Signing in, generating cards, opening a trail: everything responds faster.
• Overdue review reminder. When spaced-repetition cards pass their review date, the app lets you know — respecting your quiet hours and daily notification limit. Toggle it in Settings.
• Pasting text is honest now. The field shows the 30,000-character limit and tells you if the text was cut. Before, a whole handout would go through and generation failed later with an error that wasn't true.
• Fixed: for some texts the analysis showed "[object Object]" instead of the concepts, and generation never happened.
• The deck grid opens without waiting on a network round-trip per deck.
• Fixed: "Confirm Creation" sometimes froze after the cards had already been saved.
• The card balance in the assistant is readable again.
• If Gamora is helping, at some point it will ask for your App Store rating. Once — and never in the middle of a lesson.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-09-10

This version is about the app no longer starting from scratch every time you open it.

• What you already loaded now stays on your device. Before, everything was discarded when the app closed — which is why every screen fetched everything again, every time, even what hadn't changed.
• Home and Profile open without waiting. They used to wait on a subscription check before showing anything.
• Signing in is much faster.
• Trails open sooner: the unit and lesson list stopped being re-fetched on every visit, and course content — which doesn't change — is now kept.
• Study, My Cards and Profile used to request your information in a queue, each waiting for the last. Now they ask for it all at once.

Nothing changed about what the app does. What changed is how long you wait to start.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-02

This version is almost entirely about speed. Nothing new to learn — the screens just get there sooner.

• The Friends screen opens much faster. It used to fetch people one at a time, waiting for each answer before asking for the next. Now it asks for all of them at once.
• Home and Trails load sooner too. Information that doesn't depend on other information stopped waiting in line.
• The app uses less data. When sharing or publishing a deck, it used to download all of your cards to use only that deck's — now it asks for just what it needs. And the trails list stopped downloading courses that aren't even published yet.
• Screens that read the same information three times in a single load now read it once.
• The Trails language picker now says it's loading instead of looking empty — and offers to try again if the connection fails.

If something feels different, it's because it got there sooner.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-28

In this version:

• Your cards come back on their own, at the right time. Getting a card right a few times used to remove it from your deck for good. Now it returns just before you would forget — in 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days — and every correct answer pushes the next return further out. Got it wrong? It comes back today.
• "Mastered" is no longer a drawer. A mastered card stays in the cycle, just rarely: an occasional check-up, so what you learned doesn't slip away.
• The archived screen shows who filed each card: the app, because you mastered it, or you, because you chose to. What you archived by hand never comes back on its own.
• Challenge modes are challenges again: playing neither advances nor delays your review schedule, and archives nothing.
• A single switch in Settings turns off all of Gamora's artificial intelligence at once. With it off, none of your content leaves your device. Turning it back on brings the prompts back, so you decide again, feature by feature.

Fixes:

• The Help Center came up empty for some people. It loads now.
• Anyone who bought extra space was still hitting the old limit when creating. You now get what you paid for.
• Streaks broke for people who study at night and come back late the next day. The day now turns at midnight, like the calendar.
• My Progress hid its indicators when they were at zero — exactly when taking the first step matters most. They're always visible now.
• The weekly journey marked the wrong days. It's a real week now: the last 7 days.
• Learning settings are down to a single switch, instead of two decisions that did the same thing
