For years, I have experienced frequent slow processing on the is app when I do not experience such lag and slowness with competitor shopping apps like Target, Amazon, And others. What’s the deal GAP? ### 1/5 — Repeated failures to deliver ordered products *2026-07-13, version 18.2.1* I suspect Gap is wallowing in its return to popularity by failing to keep sufficient stock on hand to deliver. I deleted my app after two failed deliveries. If I have to wait a week to have Gap process an order to point of sending it into delivery system, I will use alternate fast fashion outlets. Shame on Gap for customer abuse! I stopped purchasing from Gap for a decade-and-a-half, returning only when Gap aligned with interesting design entities. Mostly pleased with online purchases but with over an hour drive (if traffic cooperates to “local” store) online competence is critical. Gap failed. ### 1/5 — Can’t check out shopping bag in app *2026-07-05, version 18.2.0* Tried to use the app for the extra 15% off, but it wouldn’t ever take me to the shopping bag to checkout - clicking on the bag only led to the “offers” which then led back to items for sale! Had to give up after multiple tries and go back to the website. Website works fine but you won’t get the 15%off ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iPad *2026-07-03, version 18.2.0* I tried to check out or press anything in the bottom task bar and all I got was an “offers” pop up and couldn’t get to another screen. Since that’s the only was I could go to shopping cart I couldn’t checkout. ### 1/5 — Worst Online Shopping Experience *2026-06-22, version 18.1.0* Terrible experience. This is the third time I’ve placed an order. The payment goes through, then my order gets canceled for “fraud” reasons and the money is returned. Every time I contact customer service, they can’t explain the problem and just tell me to place a new order. I’ve tried three times and the same thing keeps happening.
