## What is GAP Light V2?

This APP can control GAP LIGHTING’S portfolio of products, including SMART SYNC and SMART SYNC PLUS series. ● You can select various colours, using RGB, warm and cool white, and there are many functions such as timer, on/off (memory), colour changing modes and currently up to 8 zones for each GAP WIFI gateway, but only one zone when used with 3rd party equipment. Some products also have saturation feature. ● All APP features can be used remotely anywhere on internet enabled devices and can be shared with your friends with you managing the group.● GAP LIGHTING series products also work with Amazon Echo and Google Assistant voice and APP control, using our TUYA partner (setting up instructions provided in our APP) GAP WIFI GATEWAY is required per room or area of lighting with a radius of up to 20m RF2.4Ghz range depending on any obstructions, such as walls, windows, metals etc... The GATEWAY must be in range of your WiFi router to receive APP commands.

The most unintuitive App I have ever used! The products that are meant to be used with this App have no instructions or even tell you the App you need to download. I will stick to normal light bulbs and bin the GAP ones.

Very disappointed with the app. I’d like to see a lot more features and options eg currently I want all my front door lights to be 100% white from 4pm till 10pm and then 50% from 10pm till midnight, the app cannot to this. I want my lights to twinkle white over Christmas but this isn’t an option. There are 9 pre-set patterns in the app, none of them can be altered by the user. How about doing more regular app development and updates. A web portal with more features would be another option. This system could do so much more if GAP invest more time into the app. Anyone know of any good third party apps that work with GAP lights?

Light setup - not too bad
Light control - fine, for up to 8 zones
Voice setup - easy to setup but incredibly frustrating. Zones do not show up, so Alexa/Google only sees one light. Very poor - I have 7 zones that can’t be separately controlled with voice.
