All of a sudden I can’t open my old songs and I can’t update. - I feel betrayed by Apple. ### 3/5 — Not enough diversity? *2026-08-27, version 2.3.19* So, I don’t really write reviews. But, I had really wanted to write a song and decided I should use this app. I slowly found out that they have very limited instruments for the kind of song I wanted to make, most was just more upbeat instruments. For example, why isn’t there a flute? Or any other kinds of percussion like that to make more flowy music instead of all upbeat. But developers are putting in half the effort. The app has a lot of bugs and glitches. From unexpected crashes. To not being able to play more than 4 notes at the same time (which was possible a few updates ago). To the sustain pedal not being registered if you start recording with it already pressed. These are the ones I most frequently encounter. It randomly deleted four months of save files and sample recordings. FOUR MONTHS WORTH including finished songs, samples and projects that I needed for college. Nothing was updated, nothing was changed, the files just vanished and aren’t in any folders or the recently deleted folder. They’re not in the ‘cloud’ either. Just gone. Apple support have been in touch and want me to send them a copy of the file. The deleted by the app file. When I pointed this out I received the exact same message requesting the file. Morons, absolute morons. Done with Apple and this app. FOUR MONTHS WORTH OF EFFORT UTTERLY WASTED. I don’t trust apple any more. I downloaded the file and put it in the song bars. When I was done, I tried to save the song but all of a sudden, my app crashes. I tried it again but it keeps happening. I don’t know why it keeps doing it and I tried everything like resetting but nothing is fixing this problem. I am on a iPhone 15 Pro max and I could make ringtones before this happened.
