## What is GarageKeeper?

GarageKeeper is a local-first maintenance tracker for your personal garage.

Add your vehicles, track mileage, plan recurring maintenance, log service history, attach receipt photos, and export records when you need them. GarageKeeper also keeps source labels visible, so you can tell whether a task came from your own entry, a generic starter template, an owner's manual import, or another reviewed source.

GarageKeeper does not claim to provide factory maintenance schedules unless a value is actually sourced from a verified document you provide. Generic templates are starter estimates, VIN decode is identity-only, and imported or AI-assisted data must be reviewed before anything is added.
