What a terrible update. I shouldn’t be required to provide my address for a schedule reminder.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concern.

We only request the minimum location information needed to identify the correct waste collection schedule - typically just a postcode (UK) or a partial address, such as a street name. For most users, a full address is not required. To make the setup as simple as possible, we also provide address lookup, so you don’t have to enter the details manually.

This information also enables valuable features such as restoring your collection schedules, sharing schedules with nearby users, and allowing community members or councils to improve them over time - for example by adding collection inclusion or exclusion dates, updating bin configurations, or correcting schedules. It also supports future council integrations, including notifications about missed or rescheduled collections.

These features simply wouldn’t be possible without a small amount of location information, and no other mobile app of this type offers this level of convenience in exchange for such minimal public data.

We appreciate your feedback and will continue improving the onboarding experience while keeping the setup process as simple as possible.

Great app. However we’re lucky enough to have 4-weekly collections which this doesn’t support. Please add this feature and it will be ideal.

Having found this app only a few mere weeks ago, the life changing management of my weekly bin collections with the absolute farce of having 5 different coloured bins has been completely revolutionised by this app! With the request feature you can ask the app developer to include and improve functionality and add ons, and they listen and are top class guys! Ever since I’ve been able to plan life around my weekly bin collections and never felt so good. The only improvement I would suggest is to inform users of where to put animal waste as currently I place my dog poo in the recycling, previously I custom built a shed to compost all the dog poo it produces and this has become full recently 🙈
