Ever wondered how processed your food really is? Garbi tells you in seconds.

Garbi is a free food checker that turns confusing ingredient labels into a clear, honest verdict. Scan a barcode, scan a QR code, photograph the ingredients list, or search by name, and Garbi shows you how processed a product is and what is really inside.

### 1.10 — 2026-09-02

This update adds the ability to add new items to the Open Food Facts database. A 'better alternatives' suggestion has also been added. We have also fixed some bugs which prevented the app from scanning products if it had been open for a while. Thanks for using Garbi!

### 1.05 — 2026-07-22

We've added an option in Settings to download a database containing the most popular products in the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man (more than 200,000 products) so you can use Garbi offline. We have also fixed an issue which sometimes froze the scanner.
