One issue is that is mutes or stops my music when the app is open. They are currently doing some works around number 2 so the course is being played in a different order for the next 2 years. The watch has updated to the correct starting hole 1 (used to be the 13th). But the app hasn’t - so when capturing scores and reviewing the scores are wrong and there for the points. Why is the watch updated properly and the app not - surely they are one and the same - please fix. Was this actually ever tested with a focus!! group? Another item. When I used Garminconnect first a few years ago, golf rounds showed on Calender, colour coded with other activities. You’ll be lucky if it works at all. It will either load at a black screen, load into the driving range successfully and track a few shots then go back to a black screen, or start flashing after a shot and eventually go to a black screen. I have to troubleshoot every time I want to use the garmin app and have spent 10-15 mins every time I use it. None of the solutions garmin offer work at all. I have restarted my r10 and phone, and disconnected/reconnected Bluetooth what feels like a 100 times now in the month I’ve owned it. My advice is to download Awesome Golf Simulator. I’m looking for a golf gps app for the watch and this is the closest thing. Crashes before round is over loosing ALL data. Watch has to be restarted then you run the chance of loosing data again. On this one all tee shots appear to be hit from the rough and after editing in the app it doesn’t save the change. This builds on the failure to register golf as activity that they broke with an update 10 months ago. A bug recognised by support and still not fixed. My £700 watch broke by Garmin themselves. You need to be better! You need more transparency with your bugs and publish progress reports and uodates.
