Now that would be awesome training. ### 4/5 — No flightplan *2024-11-10, version 3.62* Read the description carefully, you can’t edit the flight plan in this trainer app. That’s only possible in the gtn trainer app. To get the real deal you need the gdu and the gtn simulator running side by side, which at the moment seems to only be offered with the pc version of the trainer, not with the standalone iOS apps. ### 4/5 — Works with iOS 17.5 *2024-06-07, version 3.50* As per other reviewers I had the same issue with the app freezing on start up. I emailed Garmin Aviation Training. Took a few days but I did get a response saying that Garmin were aware of the issue and recommended an iOS update to 17.5 or later. Then delete and download again. That worked and I now have an operational training simulator. ### 3/5 — Good for PFD Symbology but needs GTN Intergration *2024-12-16, version 3.62* Excellent symbology and presentation, but as others has said, you can’t modify or add a flight plan. You only can drone around in heading mode. It is great though for getting used to the presentation. I own a G600TXi and a GTN 750xi and use the PC version of this software to practice approaches and other related tasks. It really needs to have a GTN750 or newer navigator built in. Otherwise this app is severely limited. My company airplane has dual GTN 650s and dual G600s.
