Now can’t use. Hopefully bug will be fixed shortly ### 2/5 — Ok but not great *2020-04-06, version 10.3* Customer service is ok on some issues but not everything. Probs i have experienced after over 1000 invoices and 500 gas safety certificates.... -Limited invoicing text -emails sent from the app always end up in my customers junk mail or returned as spam despite many attempts to resolve. -Software saves multiple identical contacts for landlords with more than one property -desktop figures never match the app figures -software regularly gets corrupted files that mess with syncing and have to be solved by the developers Contacts I have saved appear in my iOS contacts on my phone but can disappear from the app software I have contacted customer service about all these issues and only some can be remedied. Great for gas safety’s but don’t rely on it for your invoicing and accounts. ### 3/5 — Needs fixing *2020-03-15, version 10.3* Never known an app to crash so much while filling out jobs, really need to fix this. Makes doing 6 services in a row dreadful ### 2/5 — Crashing issues *2018-11-12, version 9.1* Great app when it works but getting more unreliable as time goes on. Sometimes app freezes me out and becomes unresponsive so I have to delete and re-download losing important information if not backed up! Also if I search on the app for a quotation or invoice by name app just crashes, and closes! And on my pc main hub when I try and look at invoices in accounts in the last month they are completely blank and say error.xero if I email a quote or receipt to customer it doesn’t send, so I am getting very fed up with unreliability when needed. I have emailed support but had no response! Seriously considering another alternative app ### 4/5 — General *2018-07-04, version 9.1* Found this to be the best out there! Good value too... ### 3/5 — Good basic package but has big flaws *2017-11-03, version 8.0* I’ve been using this software for a couple of years or so and it has been very useful but the last update still hasn’t addressed the problem with sending multiple pdf attachments and I’m losing time using this now. I find the layout of the app much better than other ones that are available and filling out certificates and renewing them is straightforward and quick. The desktop site is not very well planned and I don’t bother with it much. The page needs to reload too often, you can’t send multiple pdfs from the desktop site without downloading them individually which makes cloud storage redundant and the reminders don’t work very well and it shows outstanding jobs for jobs I’ve already done. 3 stars... I think it’s more usable on site and easier to navigate than other apps I’ve tried but will they manage to sort the multiple pdf issue before I jump ship... who knows? ### 3/5 — Not saving certificates *2017-02-07, version 7.2* Its a good app used it for 3 or 4 years but be careful sometimes it loses the gas certificate that you've just written and you have to start again worst still you don't find out till you come to down load it at night or later next day then the certificate is lost leaving you the choice of trying to remember what you did or going back and starting again I've reported it a few times but they don't seem to be able to sort it out i use a iPad mini ### 5/5 — Well worth a go *2015-11-14, version 5.9* Been using this app for a couple of years now easy to navigate and use. A few bugs here and there. Latest one is. Cannot open App on my iPad with iOS 10.3 even when stating on all app details that it can. I think the team needs to address this. Their advice was for me to buy another iPad or just use my iPhone. Ok, so I resurrected my old iPhone 4 on iOS 7, it downloaded the App after it said the iOS was too old and could load an earlier version of the App. This contradicts what the tech helpline was saying. If I can run an iPhone 4 with iOS 7 with the App, how come my ipad won't run it? Anyone else had such issues? Mr disgruntled. ### 1/5 — Latest update June 20 *2020-07-10, version 11.0* Now the app crashes instead of opening. Finally opened after connecting ipad to internet but then started crashing again. Still waiting for an update to fix the last update. ### 1/5 — Used to be ok *2020-06-28, version 10.4* After 5 years of using this app I’ve just moved to a different app. Massive price hike for a pro user compared to other apps, incorrect dates on certs making the them invalid which is picked up by the client which then looks unprofessional, very slow since last update, all these issues raised with customer support and still nothing done. ### 1/5 — Poor customer service and support *2018-01-17, version 8.2* I have been using this for 18 months or more and I have on numerous occasions emailed and contacted by phone customer service and support but they continue to fail to reply or deal with my request. I have sent over 2k invoices in my time using this app and still receive not just poor customer service and support but NO customer service and support again despite emailingand phone calls. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2018-01-06, version 8.2* I have been using this app for many years but having been locked out and my account disappearing called in to a very rude customer service who promised a call back but never did avoid. ### 1/5 — Getting disappointed *2017-03-07, version 7.2* I have used this app for three years now, and I find flaws in the use of this app. I have got two engineers and the app does not update each other's iPhone/iPad details so as the main user I can't see what my engineers are creating. I have also had to reinstall the app losing my history of certificates that I created on my own iPad as the main user. There are better apps dedicated to gas work!! ### 1/5 — Software always crashing, records deleted *2016-04-11, version 5.9.5* Having called over 5 times, NO reply, Emailed, NO reply, I tested this software on Windows, IMac, Firefox, and still kept crashing. Very very unprofessional no service, no response ?????? ### 1/5 — Deleted all my record an invoices when I didn't renew after 12 months. *2016-04-10, version 5.9.5* The app itself was ok. After 12 months they doubled the price from £30 to £60 for 12 months. I chose not to renew, and received an email warning me that all my records would be deleted. And soon after they were deleted. I no longer had access to my gas records and customer details and invoices. I paid for the 1st years subscription and the records were my property. I would never use Gas Checker again even if all the features were free. I use it for all my invoices, warning notices and CP12’s. It has been amazing as I’m useless with paperwork! Everything is stored and if any issues the technical is amazing ( I just asked for my clients invoices for last tax year and they send a spread sheet! WOW! I had 8 years on this app and the cost of around £10 per month is too cheap. I lost my phone last year and they simply back up all my 7 years to the new phone.
