Gasol Tracker turns refueling into a gesture: take a picture of the pump display and the smart OCR fills in the amount, liters, and price per liter for you. No fields to fill, no typos.

Smarter station notifications and a sharper AI recap.

• Station notifications: less noise. The same station will now ping you at most once every two days. If you drive past your usual Shell every morning on the way to work, it stops nagging you.

• AI monthly recap: now spots the outliers. If last month you spent 40% more, drove much less, or the average price shifted noticeably, the recap tells you instead of burying it in the numbers.

• Small performance and stability improvements under the bonnet.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-12

New: an AI recap of your last month.

• New: at the top of the Insights tab, a 2-3 sentence recap of your previous month — how many refuels, how much you spent, savings vs the month before, your most frequent station. Generated by an AI model from YOUR aggregated data (never individual refuels, never personal data).

• Transparent by design: the card is labelled "AI" and carries a disclaimer. Leave a thumbs up/down to let us know if it was useful.

• Under the hood: we precompute the recap once a month so you don't wait. If it's unavailable, the app still shows a plain summary ("Last month you logged N refuels for a total of X").

Small stability fixes.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-10

A leaner app and — finally — units you can choose yourself.

• New: pick your units right inside the app. Profile → Settings → Preferences → Units. Choose Automatic (follows your iPhone Region), Liters and km, or Gallons and miles. No more changing your whole phone region just to see gallons.

• New shortcut to change the app's language: Profile → Settings → Preferences → Language — opens the iOS settings page for Gasol Tracker where you can pick a preferred language just for this app.

• The app now takes 67% less space on your iPhone (~80 MB instead of ~250 MB). Same features, less weight.

• Better internal diagnostics for pump scanner errors — helps us fix the issues you report faster.

• The rating prompt now shows up at the right moments (after your first refuel, after a CSV import, when you tick off a maintenance task) and never after an error.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-03

Full US and UK units support, plus some important fixes.

• New: gallons, miles and MPG. If your iPhone region uses imperial units, Gasol Tracker now automatically shows gallons instead of liters, $/gal instead of €/L, and cost per 100 miles. Nothing to configure.

• New: the pump scanner detects on its own whether the display shows liters or gallons, and converts accordingly. Works at a pump in Milan and one in Chicago alike.

• Fixed: some labels were still showing in Italian even with the app in English. The translation is now complete.

• Fixed: the total amount always showed the euro symbol instead of your local currency.

Thanks to everyone reporting these details — that's how the app gets better.

The biggest update yet. Five new features built around one idea — your history should never be lost again.

• New: import your history from other apps. Fuel Tracker, Fuel by Dennis Donner, Fuelly, or any CSV: bring years of data across in two taps.

• New: maintenance reminders. Service, oil change, tires, tax, insurance, inspection — with a notification the day before and on the due date.

• New: attach the receipt photo to every refuel. Need it for reimbursement? It's right there, inside the fill.

• New: "full tank" marker and more accurate consumption. Gasol Tracker now measures tank-to-tank instead of guessing.

• New: monthly PDF report. One tap and it's ready for your accountant, your employer, or yourself.

• New: sign in with email and guest mode. If you'd rather skip Apple Sign In, now you can.

• Security: sync is more reliable and sensitive APIs now run through a dedicated backend. Nothing changes for you — you just sleep better.
