## What is Gastro POS Hub?

Gastro POS Hub Waiter is the staff companion app for restaurants running on the Gastro POS Hub platform. It puts the floor in your pocket: take orders at the table, fire them straight to the kitchen, and watch every dish move from "new" to "served" in real time — without walking back to the till.

This app is for restaurant staff. You sign in to your restaurant's workspace by scanning the setup QR code your manager shows you, then logging in with your personal PIN. You need an active Gastro POS Hub restaurant account to use it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Floor & tables — see every table at a glance, who's seated, and which orders need you. Accept or reject incoming orders right from the table card.
• Take orders fast — browse the menu with photos, add items and modifiers, set the number of guests, and fire the order to the kitchen in seconds.
• Multiple rounds per table — add a new round to a running table without starting over; the kitchen sees each ticket separately.
• Live kitchen status — every order and kitchen ticket updates live: new, cooking, ready, served.
• Food-ready alerts — a time-sensitive notification the second the kitchen marks food ready, even when your phone is locked.
• Pre-bill & payment request — show the guest a pre-bill and send the payment request to the till, which prints the fiscal receipt.
• Card on a mobile terminal — record a card charge taken on your mobile card terminal.
• Shifts & cash registers — open your assigned register and close it with a full cash count at the end of the night.
• Works in your language — fully localised in 14 languages, switches instantly.

HOW IT CONNECTS
Gastro POS Hub Waiter talks to your restaurant's Gastro POS Hub system. Your manager enrols your phone with a QR code and sets your PIN — there is no account sign-up inside the app. The same app works for any Gastro POS Hub restaurant; the QR you scan decides which one.

PRIVACY
The app collects only what is needed to do your job: your staff name and email, a notification token for push, and the orders you handle. No advertising, no tracking, no selling of your data. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

Gastro POS Hub Waiter — run the floor, not the register.
