The app always crashes and I go into panic anytime someone calls out of fear I’ll miss it and have to run to open the door for deliveries. Then after seeing it again at my friends building in the Village, I reccomended it to my property manager. It has been over a year with Gateguard and it opens doors easily and reliably. But if someone doesn’t know how to use the system (a lot of delivery people), they end up calling you and you can’t buzz them in manually. For example, when setting a guest code, you can select the days of the week that the code will be active. But there’s no indication of which toggle state is ‘active’. Does grey mean “on” or does white mean “on?” Nobody knows… and there’s no help or user manual. These sorts of things should just be obvious in the design and not require guessing or looking up. ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-05-10, version 1.5.4* This company is a scam, look at the app hasn’t been updated in 2 years, their intercoms are offline 60% of the time. ### 3/5 — Please Update this App! *2021-12-17, version 1.5.4* It works in theory, most of the times. But the app frequently crashes, and there is white text with white backgrounds making it almost impossible to see what you’re selecting. This app hasn’t been updated in a while. The app Home Screen looks outdated and always says error when you try to add a guest. It has one job and that is to let you buzz people in and unlock the door. You can’t do this, though. You can only buzz someone in if they call, but the calls fail 75% of the time.
