### 3/5 — Handicap

*2026-08-03, version 12.2.0*

The facility is not easily accessible. The elevator is at the back of the facility while pool access is at the front on the lower level. A long hike for those having difficulty walking.

### 4/5 — Inside track

*2026-01-08, version 11.8.0*

It would have been a lot better if windows were installed on the outside walls of the track. It’s so boring in there and there’s a beautiful park right there to view if there were just a few windows!

### 3/5 — Too little…

*2025-11-28*

There’s plenty of group activities during the daytime hours, although mostly for retirees. These groups are greatly beneficial and should be available for those who are pre-retirement (still working). I am 60 years old and the only group activities offered at both my Y’s are those that are too hard to follow along with as well as too late in the evening. Bottom line, all that daytime activity should also be offered at least a few days a week between 3-6 pm. I’m mostly likely going to cancel my membership.

### 5/5 — Login

*2025-11-11, version 11.6.2*

Logging is crazy, not very friendly

### 4/5 — Yoga Classes

*2025-08-12, version 11.6.2*

Sure wish there were consistent classes on Fri or Sat at JC Y.

### 5/5 — We love the Y

*2025-08-09*

If you are a mom of a young baby or child and need some time for self-care, the Y is fantastic! My son has a great time at child watch, the instructors are so friendly and caring! It gives me some time to myself to walk or work out or swim… it’s a highlight of our day!

### 3/5 — Remodel

*2025-06-21, version 11.5.0*

It needs remodeling. Needs more equipment like treadmills and weight machines. Not very many toilets for women. It’s just old!

### 3/5 — CAre about the members

*2025-05-27, version 11.5.0*

Rather than paint and reconstruct the outside of the building perhaps they could listen to the members who want more classes for older adults. The classes now are almost impossible to get in.

### 5/5 — Best Y in the area

*2025-05-20, version 11.5.0*

Thank you for this facility that offers so many options to fitness

### 5/5 — Maryville ymca

*2025-05-16, version 11.5.0*

I joined this y about a month ago. It’s the nice ymca I ever went to! People are so friendly and welcoming. Front the front door through out the place !

### 2/5 — The Times Are Not Accurate

*2025-04-06, version 11.4.2*

The times are not accurate. I wanted to do Zumba class. The app said 6pm. I get there and the instructor says it started at 5pm an hour early. How was I supposed to know that being fairly new there?

### 5/5 — Love the Y

*2025-03-02, version 11.4.2*

Great

### 5/5 — Sheila

*2024-12-11, version 11.3.5*

### 5/5 — I love the Y!

Riverchace is the best! Friendly staff! And a great environment!!!!!

### 5/5 — Y review

*2024-11-18*

My husband and I are brand new members. The staff has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us learn how to use the Y. Colleen help us get signed up and told us all about the app and what is offered st the Y. Kit was a great teacher and kind teaching us how to use the equipment. Our silver sneakers teacher, Linda, is also very kind and helpful. The y community of members are fun and friendly. We are so glad we are members.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-04-30, version 12.0.1*

Glitches, doesn’t send correct confirmation emails, and good luck on getting any help to fix your account.

### 1/5 — No sign up option

*2026-04-10, version 12.0.1*

Cannot create account. Sign up option is not available

### 1/5 — App needs work

*2026-02-11*

Crazy that many people are rating this app 5 stars and then just talking about their local ymca. The app needs improvement. Half the badges don’t work, the calorie counter is crazy off, to sign up for paid classes and camps it brings you to a whole different log in page. App isn’t connected to personal account so it doesn’t show your actual last check in, purchases, etc. There is no virtual community that athletes typically like to have as the groups last updates were a minimum of a year ago

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-07-12, version 11.5.0*

I can’t sign in. I have no problem signing in to the website, but when I use the exact same email address and password, the app says that my login is invalid. I’ve tried again and again over the course of a few weeks. I deleted the app and downloaded it again. Nothing works.

### 1/5 — Mediocre

*2025-02-19, version 11.3.5*

There is a lot of room for improvement. If anyone listened perhaps they would improve it.

### 1/5 — Y=great App=terrible

*2024-10-07, version 11.2.5*

Our family lives utilizing the Y, we use the app only to scan in when I don’t have the keychain card with me. The classes are difficult to find, every branch has their own version of the app and things are in different places WITHIN the same app depending on which Y you’re looking at. I’m not sure how/why the app isn’t streamlined and simple but it isn’t.

### 1/5 — Needs help

*2024-08-09, version 11.2.5*

This app is so bad, more than once I’ve had to email someone in order to do a simple task like changing my location. It also needs a help/faq section.

It was also incredibly difficult to even sign in for this app for the first time and I had to email someone then.

### 1/5 — Love it here!

*2024-05-11, version 11.2.5*

Love the Aquacise!

### 1/5 — Silver sneakers

*2024-04-21, version 11.2.5*

Registering for each individual session of an overall class discriminated against people with memory problems, mobility issues and tech phobias.

The Y needs to find another method of accountability. Also even for tech savvy individuals it took FIVE Y personnel to load this app.

You can do better

### 1/5 — YMCA SPP

*2024-04-16, version 11.2.5*

No follow thru on sending email to reset forgotten password to access site. Extremely irritating ‼️

### 5/5 — Love the programs

*2026-05-31, version 12.2.0*
