## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-12

Worship Treats and Clean Up reminders now put a card on your lock screen showing what you're bringing and who's with you. It stays until you swipe it away or the service is over.

Share to Gather: send a voice memo, photo, video, file or link straight into a Gather chat from any app's share sheet.

Taking a photo in a chat: if the camera is turned off for Gather, the app now tells you and takes you to Settings, instead of showing a black screen.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-07

Gather has a new name on the App Store: Gather Church App. Plus fixes and improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-01

Gather is now ready for any church, with a fresh new icon and launch screen. Messages now sound the way they should when you send and receive one. Sign-up reminders stand out: they show through Focus and sound their own chime. Sign in with Face ID. Tap the top of the screen to jump to the top of any list.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-04

NOTIFICATIONS ON YOUR PHONE. Gather can now send you a banner when someone messages you or posts in a channel you're in - whether the app is closed or open. Turn it on under More > Notifications. The app icon shows how many messages are waiting, and the number goes down as you read them. Mutes, quiet hours and your notification preferences all still apply.

FELLOWSHIP MEALS, REBUILT. Setting up groups and pairings is now three plain steps. And when your family RSVPs you can tick exactly who is coming, so a sick child no longer throws off the host's headcount.

REPEATING EVENTS THAT UNDERSTAND "THE FIRST WEDNESDAY." Monthly events can now repeat by weekday position, not just the same calendar date.

PLUS: leaders can fill in the time, address and theme for any fellowship meal; children can have a photo and a birthday; and a long list of smaller fixes throughout.
