This app changed that. Keep up the good work! ### 2/5 — Developer is promoting hate speech *2024-11-04* Can you actually believe that UTD gather official account posted a video on instagram where a guy said “ blow China smooth off the map”. I’m utterly surprised that the developers are proud of promoting hate speech when he himself is also a minority! Benchod ### 1/5 — Be careful using this app *2024-10-20* I recently came across a concerning post on Gather App's Instagram where a video posed the question to students, 'What would you change as the president?' Shockingly, one of the responses was 'probably blow China smooth off the map.' This type of discriminatory and hateful speech has no place on any platform. Although the founder eventually deleted the original video, the incident raises serious concerns about the moderation and content standards of the app. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend downloading this app as it may not provide a safe or respectful environment for all users. ### 5/5 — 15/10 *2024-05-29* Gather is a good reason I like going to utd now. Everything is clean and organized and is also the UI is aesthetically pleasing. Its constantly updated which makes it a something I use on the daily. I was dying of boredom until a light that is Gather Connect shined and lit up my dim life. As soon as I started using this app, I started to participate in campus events and parties and helped me to enjoy my college days.
